Even my analysis after going through books and What RGV said about the formless mind which takes a physical form for its existence i support it. There is no heaven or hell in my perceptive, it depends on only on the state of mind when you are living and at the time of death. If we live a fulfilled life here and leave your body without any desires and bondage to anything and that state of no impressions of subtle mind is heaven and if u leave body with unfulfilled desires and attachments and carrying same impressions in subtler form is hell . RGV said that we are born blank and on the same plane he is telling of subtler aspect of mind exists without physical plane. If ts so then the unfulfilled subtler mind wanted to come back to fulfill it and takes rebirth. If we work on ourselves it is possible to leave our body when ever we wished to as our yogis did.

You don't know the feeling of say hotness/coldness if you don't touch an object physically. Its Good episode. How ever i feel our cultures are already created for celebration of death.
Specially i see in my place Karimnagar, They arrange drinks and non veg from the day 2 to day 11 and each day some of the relatives contribute for the expenses not the family of the person who died. This is really to make some kind of celebration in the place. And the 11th day they arrange the whole night drama (Oggu katha or some other local story telling event) before the relatives leave from the house. So this is to make sure the family comes out from the loss of a person and not feel the sudden vacuum in the house. the understanding could be different among the people. But the purpose is same.
I think it is in Telangana Culture..
