One of the sickest, darkest and most complex Stranglers songs. Those intricate parts must have been really challenging to figure out ...thumbs up! That Kraftwerkesque keyboard part sounds a bit more staccato on the original, where the astoundinly quirky guitar is slightly more laid back, which is so typical of Hugh Cornwell (Baz Warne is the opposite, tends to annoyingly rush all the time). Jet's drumming is spot on as usual. The bass playing is pretty close to the original, perhaps not so much the tone which to me must have been that dark red Wal used for Bear Cage and the Raven - Gospel to the Meninblack albums. But WOW - fantastic work once again Great Elmyr! Can't wait to see the next one...
I'd love to hear you do All Roads Lead to Rome or Ships that pass in The Night Beyond excellent work Seriously Talented and it's obvious that you can hear every piece of every song.
This is really excellent. Like someone else said it would be good to hear some later Stranglers tracks as well. Maybe something off Feline, Aural Sculpture or La folie
You without doubt are a very talented guy, the vids are great too, I'm going to rate all your covers (not the vids) out of 10, but because You've now set very high standards if I give one cover lower than another that doesn't mean that it's bad but the other one is so great so here we go ---->9/10
Brilliant as always! If you're doing the whole Raven album, that is going to be the best thing that happens on the Internet this year! 👍🏼
Love your work Elmyr. Please Hugh, call Elmyr and encourage him.
Vocals spot on … incredible . It could be JJB singing

The most "Residents-y" song from The Stranglers. And a great performance!

As most of you will know, this was the song played at Dave's funeral
I wonder why it was chosen?

From what I understand the song was selected by his wife Pam
It meant more to Dave than any other
