Thanks to Julie, I’ve had an epiphany. All those years that I HAD to go shopping with my wife to buy her clothes, I just thought I was there to carry the bags and pay the bill. Now I realize I was there for the fashion show! 🎉

@@exuberant_fun gotcha, being introverts and isolated for the past 3 years and loving it, we have to be our own audience. And I must say our choice of sweat pants and lounge wear is much admired.
As a guy, and one that buys clothes like once a decade, and mostly from Costco... actually, I get it. You get a new thing, you want to show it off and gauge reactions. Perfectly relatable.
I take my Gucci budget and just buy a truck full of clothes from Costco. And a hot dog.

If I were rich I would do the steeve jobs thing and just by 50 of 1 outfit and just commission more of that exact outfit if any were damaged/wore out.
They can all see it when you wear it out and about! 😅 That's my motto, I didn't try them all on inside the store bc it was a hassle (1 of each was enough), and I'm not putting them all on now! 😆💪👍
Not where I thought that comment was going. Personally I can't recall ever having the desire to show off a purchase, unless the item was literally artwork purely for the purpose of display.

Being married after a few years of hard learned lessons I eventually learned to ask to show me how it looks on her😅
After 30 years of marriage, that stops. My wife will still show me regardless. I've finally convinced my kids I don't care and they know not to be offended... they just show each other and my wife instead.. actually she asks. I'm out of this loop.. especially when I make the offhand comment to my youngest like "you're going out like that.. in those "hooker" boots with that midriff"? 🤣🤣🤣🤣
My dad always demanded the fashion show. His reasoning was, he wanted to "see" where his money was spent. I never wanted to "do" the fashion show but for dad, I did. Miss him, and those are good memories now. ♥️

I have the reverse problem. My wife buys ME clothes and then I have to do a fashion show for her.

When my wife comes back from shopping I know to ask for a fashion show, or I am in trouble. I sometimes even take "fashion" photos to show how great it is, but mostly so she can even remember later what she has. She also does "shows" before we go out to create and check out new combos. I know not to rush her, or comment.
Yeah, and now a days, it’s perfectly alright to say yes, when the ever so popular question is asked. “Honey, do these jeans make by butt look big?” A big “YES” is the correct answer. She’ll probably smile and give you a big kiss and a hug. “🍑” 😂

Oh look, it's literally me when I buy clothes and then have to ask my partner if he wants to come to my fashion show. Bless him for always agreeing, though I know he's not excited about it. Look man, I need other people's objective opinions, especially when it's clothes I bought off the internet and it will be my first time trying them on.

As a kid me and my sister would go shopping with my mom and even though we shopped together, we would come back home and have a mini fashion show to show off the various combinations we can wear with the clothes we bought and we had. 😆
I don't know when we stopped doing that but that was so fun. Thanks for reminding me of that Nolke, I am gonna bring this up next time I talk to my sister.

That’s funny, I’m the exact opposite. If someone asks me for a fashion show after I go shopping I’m like ughh so much work to put on all these clothes and take them off
