Ryan's getting better at the Philly shell and it frustrated the hell out of Haney cause he couldn't catch him. Those are clear improvements. Also Ryan doesn't drop his right hand so much

Man, my Dad and I were furious with the officiating in this fight. Harvey Dock is a friend of ours, and has always been our top ref, and always extremely professional.
This fight made me feel like he must’ve getting paid generational/life changing money to “work” this one.

Haney said it best himself. He was surprised by Garcia, especially the first 30 seconds of the fight. That set the tone of the fight and no matter how technical he tried to box, he went into caution mode. Garcia was actually fighting for the most part without much to lose.
Ryan relied on what he does the best his hook 😂 and that hook scared Devin after he got knocked down the first time…if he would’ve had a response for that hook Devin would’ve won…it’s almost as if Devin didn’t have a game plan at all 😂

Hard to train for left hooks that are fast and long. Tank got under them more easily. But can’t really avoid it bc it’s mainly a counter punch.
Ryan leads with it a lot. Against tank that’s what got him beat. Bc straight punches beat hooks everytime.
Lefties have an easier time of avoiding left hooks as well.
I don’t see any right handed fighter avoiding Ryan’s hook for an entire fight.

On top of that everyone told him it would be an easy win. Maybe he even thought that because he mocked Garcia about only having a hook, Garcia would try something different. Haney just doesn't have a response to Garcia's power. If Garcia would have had better conditioning he would have unleashed and KO's Haney.
Garcia done all of this with almost no jab, almost everytime he dropped Haney it was off a jab. With such a devastating left hook imagine if he works on his jab. Would make his job a lot easier . Good entertaining fight Thankyou Garcia

In r7 the ref should've taken a point away from Haney for obsessive holding and should've counted a second knockdown. Whens the last time we've seen a 9-6 round in boxing, if ever? r7 was a 9-6 round.
3 KD in one round used to be TKO. Probably why ref was helping him out? Didn’t want the TKO? Maybe was told to help it go distance if possible.

I was completely shocked that the judge and the commentator had a tie. I also think Ryan has just opened up and doesn’t care what anyone thinks about him. He’s been through a ton with the divorce and other things and he just wants to be open but he better be careful because if you make the wrong people mad you get taken care of. Winning this fight definitely threw him into the stratosphere though. The acting leading up and then winning made him a very famous person.

what I observed, other fighters use trash talks as psychological warfare against their opponents. While ryan's psychological warfare is acting like he's crazy, or like he's out of focus. Like a reverse psychology. That also happened in the fight, Ryan acting like he's gassed out, and when devin gets over-confident, he swarms him with that freaking fast hooks.

I think fights should be judged per round based on who was more aggressive (moving forward, throwing the first puch in an exchange)who landed more punches and who did more damage (knock down ,or wobble ) one judge per category per round then the best Athlete will win based on factual numbers just like any other sport and not by a judges opinion only.
