NOTE :
- Only breed Pokemon of the same egg group and opposite genders. (unless you're using a Ditto)
- Legendary and Mythical Pokemon are unable to breed. (except for Manaphy and Phione)
- Ditto can breed with any Pokemon and gender. (except with its own species)
- Once you've reached 3-4 max IVs, give one of the parents a Destiny Knot.
- Destiny Knots allow a Pokemon to pass down 5 of their IVs to their offspring instead of 3. (Destiny Knots aren't required but they are recommended)
Dang it,that means I have to waste more pokeballs to catch 2 of the same pokemon with different gender in order to hatch it.But why cant ditto 70% breed an egg?
@@gladiatorgamer9502 Becuase it's a different species and Ditto itself is it's own egg group. But if you have the 6x31 ditto from the code, I would still recommend using it. It'll make things much easier

@@witherbons8571 Check the stats of the Pokémon and you'll see numbers just below the word "IV". The IV numbers can range from 0-31, 31 is the highest IV. If you see multiple numbers that are 31, that means the Pokémon has good IVs

Get a macargo (magma armor) and another with (flame body) and put in Ur team with the eggs u want Hatch.
They Will decreased the time u need to hatch.
They don’t stack, you only need one of them

Whatever power item the parent's holding, it will pass down it's IVs for that corresponding stat onto the offspring

Great video, recently on PBF there was a new code that had a 6x31 ditto that i sadly couldnt get. I know you can get a ditto from the arcade but I was wondering if you could manually train the ditto to make it a 6x31 ditto? Do you know if its possible?
You can using bottle caps, but it's gonna end up being very tedious and time consuming though. Other than that, I'm not sure there's anything else:(

Like, the female gives 5 of her iv and the male gives 5 of his iv, or 2.5 each?
It can be 2.5 each, but it also can be 4 from male and 1 from female or 3 from male and 2 from female etc.

It can, but it would be alot more difficult

@@witherbons8571 The number. Ivs go from 0-31, and 31 is the best, so go for 31
I have a 6x31 ditto (With destiny knot) breeding with a 5x31 larvitar but I usually end up with a 4x31 or a 5x31 pokemon. How am I suppose to get a 6x31 pokemon from breeding.
You'll just have to keep grinding for it, but 5x31 is already good enough in my opinion. It just depends which stats are maxed out.
If your pokemon only has 1x31 should u make it hold a destiny knot or no? Or does it have to have 4x31 IVs first
It should be at least a 3x31 to give it a destiny knot
Btw what if I can’t get a destiny knot it would be hard work grinding tix so I would just try battling first gym trainers
Destiny knots aren't required. They do help speed up the process a bit

So if I have a male axew and a female axew with one max iv in a different stat I just keep breeding them until a baby is born with two and whichever gender it is to replace the current parent for that baby and then keep breeding until a better one is born and repeat?

When checking the stats of a Pokémon, you will find the word IV at the top. All the numbers below that are the Pokémon's IV stats. The IV numbers can range from 1-31, if a Pokémon has multiple 31 IV stats means it has good IVs

ev bc u will have to level up your pokemon when doing iv even if you have a 6x31 pokemon. ev is easier

Riolu can't breed since it's a baby pokemon. You'll have to evolve it into Lucario first

Do you have any other pokemon that are water types or in the same egg groups as Marill, and with a 31 iv stat? Cus if you do, you can use that to breed instead

I think you're just gonna have to keep on hatching. It took a while for me too, when i was trying to get one

Yes, but it'll be a pretty complicated and difficult process of breeding the ditto, so I suggest you look it up
What if i have a perfect male lucario and a ditto with bad IV, what do i do to get a good iv riolu?
Best bet is to breed them until you get a decent IV riolu (doesn't have to be the best) but you can try breeding for as long as you want until you get one you like. Then evolve that riolu into lucario and breed it with the parent lucario you had from the start. And just keep breeding them.
well then i been doing it wrong lol, but is it absolutely necessary i use a ditto? because I dont have one and the DATAWIPE code is expired
Nope it isn't, it's just easier to use since it can breed with almost any pokemon

@@ricexd4458 Well if you have a Pokémon that already has a 31 IV stat, it'll increase the chances of hatching a Pokémon with a 31 IV stat. So more max stats means more chance

It should be able to breed with pokemon of the field egg group, like a Diglett. The other eeveelutions should've also worked though

i got a destiny knot on my rookidee, it’s a 5x31 and so is the female. the female has 24 iv for defense and the male has 26 for defense.
i keep breeding them and the hatched eggs always come out to be the same as their parents, Their def IV is always 26 or lower, do i keep breeding until 6x31 or should i just stop right there? i’ve been going for like 2 hours already btw
It already has pretty decent EVs, although I'd suggest maxing out it's defense EVs instead

I don't know if I'm doing something wrong but I've been iv breeding for the past hour and all the ivs I'm getting is only going towards attack and nothing else. Can you explain why?
I'm also swapping out the male and female pokemon but I'm still getting 31ivs for attack and then everything else is low or high but never maxed out
It's probably because both the parents have 31 ivs for attack, so normally the offspring would have more chance of getting max attack ivs. There's a 3% chance of getting a 31 iv in each stat, so just keep breeding and you'll find one with a 31 ivs in a different stat. Then you can swap it out with the original parent. It'll take a while:)

I got a question though. If the current breeder has a 3x31 stat but the other 3 are low but then I breed another one that is the same gender and has the same ivs in the same category but has a little better ivs in the other 3 than the breeder, should I switch it out?
It's up to you if you wan't, i don't think it changes the chance of getting a new 31 iv
Hello! I don't know if it is a glitch or not but when I breed two charmanders and hatch the egg only male charmanders will hatch. I have done half a box and all are males
It's because Charmanders female gender ratio is alot lower than the male,which makes it alot harder to get a female. Maybe try switching the male charmander with another?

Well for breeding, not really. You can't really pass down base stats when breeding the ditto since those can't be changed

The chance of them being able to breed with each other decreases if both of the pokemon belong to you (as in you being the original trainer). So I think you just got unlucky with the chances

Ok, it's either both of them are from you which means you're the original trainer (OT). this lowers breeding chance. Another is that one of them are from a code and are not breedable

You still gotta do a little more breeding for it to get to 4. It just speeds up the proccess
