I enjoyed ALL of these techniques. My favorite though, is that low-to-the-ground snap armbar. The glide over the opponent, to me, is ideal, vs the standard armbar. OSS
I was surprised how many of these techniques I use already based off of my wrestling background. First time I had somebody try to butterfly sweep me I did that exact leg pinch to counter and it worked quite well. Hopefully the details can take me to the next level.!
Is there any footage of Javier (or anyone else) using those behind the back arm traps successfully against a resisting opponent of similar size and skill?
I've watched him roll against very skilled guys and totally shut them down with his hand trapping techniques. Javier and I are planning to do some training soon, which I'll videotape.
Beautiful. Oss!

Check out his UFC fights.
Now I know what you will be going after on me next time we roll Rick. 😊
Haha! The more likely scenario is you make me feel like a 1 stripe white belt.
everything is a hand fight, always
Life changes when you make that realization.
