I remember this gig as if it was only yesterday! Sinking in the mud, the rain pissing from the heavens since the Friday afternoon, sabbaths whole sight was jaw dropping

Ozzy never sang very well on concerts. There is no difference to the 90's so i think he is good as he always was. He is not Mick Hucknall... And Ozzy will not stop! He makes a new Solo Album. Just Black Sabbath will stop ;)

Oh for the days when Ozzy would just sing the lyrics (or a version of them) and not shout all this clap your hands, sing along crap. Loved these guys for most of my life but it's all karaoke these days, it is the END!

Aye, sad to see Ozzy stumbling around the mic stand, lost his confidence and didn't know what to do, Would hardly go more than 3 steps from the stand b4 making a B line back to it as fast as possible. Still had a good time tho.

Audience participation you mean ? Would you rather him not involve the fans and just speed through the gig without acknowledging them ? Shows you have very little knowledge of being on a stage and trying to put on a show.
I was there that night and the sound and quality of the musicianship were superb, can't wait to see them again in January

Nothing wrong with audience participation Joe, I saw Sabbath in their prime and there was plenty of audience participation but not in this audience do all the work style Ozzy uses to hide his obvious vocal short fallings. If you had seen them in their day you would have seen a band so vital and important that they inspired generations of youngsters to pick up guitars and form bands. Without Sabbath there would not have been a desert/stoner scene or a doom scene I loved this band with all my heart, i'm not saying they are still not great musicians but seeing them just going through the motions saddens me. I'm glad you enjoyed them at Download and I hope you get the same enjoyment the next time you see them but for me it is truly the end. BTW I know plenty about being on stage.i'm a guitarist myself.

How do you even move to Black Sabbath? To be honest I am glad he did that (although it was maybe a bit too much). You need to get over it and stop bragging about back in the day.
There's nothing wrong with his voice either.
They are still amazing and inspiring. To be honest I've saw old vidoes and it looks/looked quite boring. You obviously think a lot of yourself and look down on others... btw being a guitarist is nothing special.
Not sure how he is "going through the motions" just because he has decided to tell people to clap for fuck sake.

where / when was he stumbling? I was there. He ran from one end of the stage to other constantly.
