Ah there it is. WOW that thing rips, you weren't kidding. It sounds great as well, it seems the mesh is perfect. I bet it could even squeeze another MPH or two out. That thing is awesome!
Thanks REK.. I really wish I had a Slash or Rustler for the simple reason that there really aren't too many options for upgrade with the AMP. I'm at the point now where it would be nice to be able to weld or braze my own simple parts like a willie bar.
@@RCRoads yeah it does seem like the rustler, and especially the slash are among the most customizable and upgradable rc cars there are. You can barely crash one without slamming it into a pile of compatible parts.
@@Rek_Rc lol ... It's nice to have an RC friend that know so much about cars and shares their knowledge. Maybe some day I will get a used Slash but honestly the mods are what cost so much. The AMP is like a sacrificial car in my collection but nothing seems to break on this car. I imagine the Slash is just as durable.
Great video, to get the AMP 2wd up to 52 without a wheelie bar, you will need a longer run way to ease it up to full speed. Pretty sure you may get 55, 57. Enjoyed see that thing on two wheels, some damage is the price we pay doing speed runs. Take care and have a wonderful Christmas. 👍👍👍🤜🤛
Thanks my friend. I agree. The AMP was given to me and I thought "what a junker" but it's been tons of fun. I installed an aluminum bar about an inch wide and 3/16" thick and bolted it to the entire length of the chassis and had it extend out about 2" where I mounted some small wheels. It wont flip over now. Anyways that's what is so specially about the car is that I can fix things on it without dumping any money into it. Cheap motor and tires and it's ready to go.
Wow!! I'd love to see a speed run with a wheelie bar on that ripper!! Then DAMMITT on the motor leads getting scraped up!! I hope you can fix that easily!! Great video‼️👍👍🦾🦾
Thanks my friend. I need to research willy bars. The Traxas Slash and Rustler have more upgrade options. The motor cover on my DR10 has mounting points but I don't know if that would fit the AMP. I need a cage that covers the motor or some kind of a body. Poor motor lost half of its strands on the C conductor. I'm going to run it that way. I just clumped the severed strands of wire back against the ones that were pultruding from the motor ... no solder ...it was just to close to the plastic to do so. I mechanically connected the outer strands with shrink sleeve. lol .... fingers crossed ...
@Robert Ball RC sounds like a good fix to me! I'm looking at the rustler myself- it's has the self - righting system in it like the xmaxx does at only half the price... I tend to flip over a lot with my crazy driving! Lol.
I can only imagine that many older 2wd's are tossed in the trash each year. Honestly they are just as much fun as a 4wd. They are easy to work on and parts can be found everywhere. The Arrma Granite is also a great little truck but a totally different driving experience. 👍👍
Wow thank you very much for the sub. The combination works out great. I just need to come up with a way to guard the motor better and take it out in the dirt.
@@Piaspeedy Well I hit curbs in broad daylight with perfectly good tires. It's too bad they discontinued the chassis. I hope you can find one somewhere. ( ̲̅:̲̅:̲̅:̲̅[̲̅ ̲̅]̲̅:̲̅:̲̅:̲̅ ) It hurts when we break stuff. Best of luck.

Wow that’s crazy. I got my son a amp and he would flip to see it do a wheelie

Wow really amazing video my friend, nice run good job 😍👍👍💯
Thanks kindly. Hopefully I can get back out soon and see if I can get more speed out of it. Maybe add some weight to the front end.
cool run mate...perfect road😍
enjoy dude🏆
Thanks man. I took some driving around to find this location. Now if I could just learn to drive. :)

@@doubledome2076 I flip quite a bit too. A thick rubbery body shell would be nice. :) ..
@@doubledome2076 That seems like a great choice. The Rustler has so many upgrade options too.
I wish I would’ve bought one of these instead of the arrma granite voltage at horizon fest this year..

I snapped my chassis
What happened to cause your chassis to snap? Cold weather ? Bad landing ? I better check it out. 👍👍
@@RCRoads the chassis are discontinued. I was doing a speedrun and hit a really weird curb, it was dark and had bald ass tires. Can happen i guess🤷♂️
