- In this video we are looking at an official test route in Cardiff. The route is comprised of several junctions, meeting traffic, roundabouts, national speed limits and traffic lights.
NOTE: AN EXAMINER CAN DEVIATE AT ANY POINT AND CHANGE A TEST ROUTE.
Although a test route will have a reverse manoeuver and a possible emergency stop, I have omitted these as I wanted to concentrate on the actual drive.
There is an area on the route, towards the end, where the foot cam footage ends early

@rijaalali4512 I wouldn't say there are route names as such. There are just general areas.
There are 5 routes uploaded on the channel, I have named the roads to help
Box junction question if it's red and the exit is clear can we pass?
@jinny.96 when the signals are green, you can enter a box junction if you are first inline and your exit is clear. If the light then changes to red, you must proceed when it's safe. You can not stay in the box as you will be blocking traffic from your left/and or/ right.
Just a question. Do I have to go on dual carriageway roads on my test ?
You can be tested on any road apart from a motorway. It depends where your test centre is.

Manorway between Gabalfa and Coryton roundabouts (30mph)
Gabalfa roundabout (a48) to Llanederyn (50mph)
