Great trip report! Its certainly an awesome economy class, but the best dreamliner economy class is definitely on Turkish Airlines. The seat there is more comfortable and the food is just excellent :)

Thats the airport i went to on may 28th leaving for india amritsar and it was a cool experience after 6 years of being in Italy. I flew with Qatar Airways when i was 4 years old on december 20th 2016 and its the no.1 airline i recommend if you're planning to go in a country thats in Asia.

Hello and greetings from Brazil. I really enjoy the Qatar Airways "welcome onboard" cabin music. A nice touch. How much I miss the complimentary In-Flight magazine that we had on the seat pocket. Airlines got rid of magazines during the pandemic (less surfaces to be touched by customers when it was too risky) but it is no longer an excuse for airlines to supress this reading material. They are saving millions of dollars as they stopped printing the magazines but lots of passengers can realize that this is a decision that shows real lack of commitment with a service that goes the extra mile. 14:49 These little dry snacks make me laugh. I really cannot understand the person who named this dry little thing 'Pretzel'. This one has nothing to do (apart from its shape) with the real German Brezel. 16:38 What a beautifully presented Economy Class meal. Metal cuttlery is almost a thing only for Business and First Class nowadays so Qatar Airways ought to be praised for offering this luxury item to their Economy Class customers. Salad and dessert seem to be served on real glass cups instead of plastic. The after lunch snack and beverage service was fantastic.

You mentioned extra legroom in row 16 compared to the aft cabin. They seem to be the last row of preferred seats, which QR don't specify as having extra legroom. Did you notice if the rows behind it in the same section of the aircraft had similar legroom? Or do you reckon it was just the preferred seats that had a bit extra? Thanks very much.
You should check the seat layout on AeroLOPA. Seatguru is not always updated and does not contain any technical information of the seats. Usually the front row seats have more legroom than rear cabin. The preferred seats should have extra legroom than standard seats. Unfortunately I didn’t check row 17-18 etc, but they should not have more than 1 inch difference compared to row 16.
Hi please can you let me know if there was a plug socket for charging a laptop? i have a 13 hour flight on sunday and can't decide whether it is worth taking my laptop or not as I can't find any information about if there are plug sockets on board! thank you
5 star airline on their b787-9 from Europe -Doha...….yeah...…but their a320 on a flight the same length to southeast Asia......absolutely not...consistency matters and so doesn't really make them 5 star...…emirates in comparison...…having a consistent product keeps them in the 5 star league
I base my reviews on my actual flights. I've never had experience on their A320s, so I can't tell you how they perform on single-aisle planes. If you want praise Emirates, what do you think about their 2-3-2 Business Class or for not being part of an alliance? And who never stopped flying in the middle of the pandemic? Qatar. Every airline has strengths and weaknesses, and from my experience and status, Qatar has higher rating than Emirates.
@@NikiSvaizer you may be right about the 2-3-2 business class.....however, Qatar's q-suite is only 1 of 7 possible business class products you can get.......even if you do book a flight that specifically says is fitted with the q-suite, out of experience and and the experience of many frequent business travellers and well-known flight reviewers, aircraft changes at Qatar are extremely likely. my aircrafts on my 6 flight itinerary with Qatar was changed 4 times.....and eventually changed from a b777 to and a320...uncoincidentally, this happened the same amount of times, the past 2 or three times I booked tickets with them. from qsuite to recliner seats......(happened three times).....quite harsh don't you think? and the worst part of this is that Qatar even explicitly state they will not provide any fare difference, even if we pay a premium for the qsuite.......quite an ugly way of managing these issues. even the economy standard from b777 to a320 on Qatar is horrific. Emirates b777 2-3-2 could be said to be just as good as Qatar's A330 business class at 2-2-2, which is not any worse to be honest. At least with Emirates you are guaranteed the product you book. aircraft changes are so uncommon with Emirates and there is proof! you can be certain when you fly emirates business that you won't get recliner seats but instead angle to fully flat beds. even the economy hard and soft product across all cabin classes are so modern and importantly similar across the entire fleet.....whereas with Qatar owning 29 short haul single aisle aircraft with an appalling hard product......Qatar loses the game here. and also joining an alliance if not an issue if the airline is handling themselves well....Emirates have multiple partners with airlines like Qantas too......and seen the recent Josh Cahill video? I guess if you point out any inadequacies you'll get tracked down...Qatar want to keep all their mistakes hidden......haven't found anything as such on Emirates. Consistency matters! multiple flight reviewers E.g. Josh Cahill, Simply Flying and Even Non-stop dan would agree Qatar is okay/decent but definitely not 5 star at all or worlds best.
Travelling lot"s both medium and long haul I feel QR to be overrated by far. Seats in Economy are standard, food presentation and Quality are nothing special not exceeding their competitors. One more review... anyhow, never mind.

To be honest i prefer Emirates economy class
Emirates latest Economy seats are good too, but I was referring to Economy on a Dreamliner and Emirates doesn’t (still) have a 787 in their fleet.
