I brought it after ready mixed reviews. I found it just so nice to use. I have fine limp hair and I’ve used it two weeks and I don’t think I’ll change to any different products for awhile. So definitely different for everyone.
I too have crazy fine, dry hair and suffer from psoriasis and I have found using the Christophe Robin Purifying Scrub once a week has completely eliminated any scalp issues I had. Plus it’s so luxurious to use and a tub has lasted me well over a year and a half.
missemd22 I have the same hair type too but I absolutely hate the Christophe Robin Purifying Scrub! It emulsifies way too quickly and I don’t find it has helped my psoriasis at all.
My boyfriend has coarse, 4c curls and it worked great for him, but I had a similar experience to yours - I have never used so much dry shampoo in my life as when I was trying new wash. It was also causing a lot of hair fall which was a bummer.
Eee yikes. Yeah that’s what I hear about these like “game changing” hair systems. Like Monat, the hair loss is real! It’s supposedly like, getting the old out and replacing it with new, but your hair grows like a half an inch a month. That’s a long time to wait for “new hair”. Thanks but no thanks!
Just to balance out the review, this product really works well for me. My hair tends towards dryness, but with this, it feels clean and soft, and not poofed up.
I do too! New Wash irritated the heck outta my scalp because of all the essential oils; I had a really awful flare-up with it. I’ve had way more luck using dye, fragrance, and preservative free hair washes that are a 1/4 of the cost...!
My hair is dry and my scalp is sensitive to normal shampoo. I bought the rich new wash and I love it from the first wash. I don’t understand how it can make your hair greasy when it rinses out so easy and clean.. huh.
Thanks for the review. This was amazing for my sister who has baby fine shoulder length hair. It gave her a lot of body. I tried it and my hair looked great- to my shoulders. The remaining six or so inches of hair was bone dry and any attempt to add oil would make it dry and greasy. I am now trying out Maneline. But I'm really glad I gave it a shot because my scalp is clean for the first time, I can go longer without washing it, and I really want to use a shampoo that allows for natural oil production rather than stripping and replacing it. Maneline may not work, but I have some back ups. I think this will be an expensive experiment, but my hair will be better for it. I would definitely recommend this product to anyone with shorter hair, especially if you'd like more body (it made my sisters hair shiny as well, but I didn't experience that.)
Kackie Condatore I did hair for 12 years! I can’t imagine this working either! I have super thick hair & I still don’t feel like it would work for me either!
My hairstylist swears by this shampoo and told me from her personal experiences, that many people who are experiencing a greasy scalp actually make their situation worse by attempting to use even less of the product. You should probably double the amount that you are putting in your hands. I know people are confused about why you would put oil in your hair, but consider brushing your teeth or oil pulling. It’s a similar concept. It also is significantly more hydrating.
Oil pulling in teeth doesn't 'clean' teeth of plaque, biofilm needs to be physically removed and swishing with oil or mouthwash doesn't cut the mustard. Coconut oil 'draws out toxins', which is another topic for debate.
I have co-washed for years, so my hair didn't require an adjustment period. This stuff ruined my hair. From the very first time I used it, my hair, which is very fine, very thin, and has about a 2b-2c waviness, came out totally frizzy, dry feeling, and practically straight. I stuck with it for a couple of weeks, but my hair got so bad I gave up, and am now trying to restore the soft, shiny feel and curl I had before trying New Wash. I'm glad it works for some people, but it was a disaster for me, so I'm feeling the pain as I throw a nearly full $40 bottle in the trash. BTW, before I first started the curly girl method, I had to wash my hair daily. If I didn't, it definitely showed. It took three weeks of greasy-looking hair before my body finally decided I wasn't going to strip it of oil anymore. I went from daily shampooing to only needing to once or twice a week, and usually then it was really to restore my curl, not to get rid of oiliness.
@cedarwoods I didn't stop washing daily right away. I went from using shampoo to only washing with a conditioner, and my hair didn't look clean at first. I stuck with it, though, and about three weeks in it began to respond. It looked clean on the day I washed, and still looked and felt clean the next day. If it looked okay I didn't wash that day. Gradually I reached the point that I only needed to wash every 3-4 days, and could even get away with a 5th day if I had to.
I’m so frustrated with this product. From perfectly clean hair (after using a normal shampoo) I wash it with New Wash - and scrub and rinse as much as anyone ever could! - and it’s a grease ball. Definitely product residue and not my own oils. Any benefit to the hair ends isn’t worth the scalp oil slick! I can’t go out like it, it’s vile

I was done listening about the shampoo after 4 minutes but I just love your make up so much! Your lip color I'd a great match to your skin tone and makes your teeth look even better! Can you please list out what color and brand it is?
Kackie thank you so much for making this video I would love to see you bring in some more hair care take videos because you have such a great experience with it and my hair and skin type is similar to yours super dehydrated you know needs a lot of hydration so if you do find things that work really good for your hair both shampoo conditioner and styling I would love to hear your opinions on that
New Wash says on their site you gotta give them at least 30 days. As the in-between of washing off all the old crud takes time. Then when it's finally all washed off then their products can soak in. I have never tried New Wash, just thought I'd say that cause I recall reading it on their site and you only gave them half the time. 😊
This product is so hyped. Thank you for the honest review!!!
Girl yes. Thanks for watching!

I can't even hear what you're saying because I am mesmerized by how perfect your teeth are lol
Hahahahahaha thank you

I'm desperately looking for something to help my itchy, flaky, possibly psoriasis scalp. I'll check this out!

Thank you for this! I have severe psoriasis on my scalp and you have totally saved me on this one 💖

Wow, thanks for this honest review! I have that dry thing going, too, and I feel like I dodged a bullet.

Look up Sara Engle
Love your haircut!! Looks good on you!
Thank you!!

Question is there a cheaper dupe for this ?
Great review, your hair and makeup look gorgeous 💕
Thank you so much!

I use about 8 pumps per wash, and am still experiencing the greasiness, after 4+ weeks of trying New Wash.
kcamp295 sameeee- I’m almost to the end of this bottle and can’t get clean hair. Totally unimpressed.
Very curious to know how many bottles of this stuff it'd take before my scalp gets used to it.. for the price I am very hesitant to try it

What colour lipstick are you wearing??
Can you post any videos or direct to me any videos you have about your psoriasis?

I’m loving the lipstick!

Your hair is beautiful and your skin looks great 🤗😍
Thank you!!!
How often did you wash your hair?
Oils in shampoo makes no sense. It’s like washing dishes with dish washing detergent and olive oil!!!
I was done listening about the shampoo after 4 minutes but I just love your make up so much! Your lip color I'd a great match to your skin tone and makes your teeth look even better! Can you please list out what color and brand it is?
It’s thrive Stephanie lipstick 😊
What shampoo do you use/recommend? You said this irritated your psoriasis so which shampoo would you use for your scalp condition?
Well, since making this video, I started taking Taltz, which makes it so I don't have psoriasis flare ups. But for shampoo I use Aquis.
Thanks 🙏🏼🙌🏻 and also it’s so pricey 🤷🏻♀️
Kackie thank you so much for making this video I would love to see you bring in some more hair care take videos because you have such a great experience with it and my hair and skin type is similar to yours super dehydrated you know needs a lot of hydration so if you do find things that work really good for your hair both shampoo conditioner and styling I would love to hear your opinions on that
ur so pretty..and just got such a down to earth real feel about u. not that pampered princess type of girl. got some charisma goin on gurl.

Sounds like a lot of work!!
You have amazing hair!
This product has Isopropyl alcohol in it, this is a skin irritant.
Annoying, can’t watch.
