Great progress on infantry - it all looks right on camera as an assembled unit. That’s a huge motor pool to support them; looking forward to seeing these in action
Hi Travis The Sikhs are looking great! Just a couple of notes on the tanks and armoured cars:- I don't think many MkVICs (with the 15mm Besa) were sent to the Middle East. As I understand it, they were mainly issued to the 1st Armoured Division and went to France in 1940, so probably best to use the MkVIB turrets with the 0.5"/.303" combination. Valentines regiments seem to have used Matilda CS tanks, rather than the Valentine CS. The Marmon Herringtons were usually armed with the usual Boys/Bren combination, but were often up armed with PzBsh 41, Pak 36s, 20mm Bredas, 25mm Hotchkiss and maybe Italian 47s or even 2pdrs in extemporised mountings. Cheers Donald
The Morris CS9 AC has a Bren LMG and Boys AT rifle (Hence the U shaped cutout) in the turret, at least the majority had that loadout and turret set up. There was a few later built ones that had dual Vickers but not many was made before production ended. The one Marmon has a QF 2 pounder not a autocannon.
Interesting to see how you break up your painting schedule for all the figures. Great to see you have gone for the Sikhs. Andre will not know about your painting methods. The Morris, probably a smoke discharger.
Maaan these are looking ace! Really ripping along with the painting on these guys, too. What did you end up using for the skin on them? Good call on those Indian pattern carriers, too - they look absolutely iconic, and they'll certainly stand out on the table!
I like your sikhs they look really good and i also would have had some crusader tanks as well just cause i think they look cool(dont think they were too good?)
Bren groups were always meant to be 3 men; gunner, No2 and gun controller who should be a Lance Corporal and also Section 2ic. The rifle group is the remaining six riflemen and the Section Commander, a Corporal. Generally they were short of men so the gun controller often worked as the No2. They also frequently left men out of battle (LOB) so there would be a nucleus to rebuild around in the event of severe losses. Chain of Command uses the historical orbat, Bolt Action just lumps everyone into one section/squad.
The Sikh company is taking shape .... well done so far.
they look pretty good to me. loving seeing how this progresses.
Looking great 👍. Keep up the good work.
Brilliant I’m looking forward to seeing them on the table
Looking good 👍 keep us posted bud, fantastic work

Coming along nicely.
You sell yourself short. You say, "not super great" but what I see IS super great! Lovely models.
Thanks! But they could be better with proper painting and highlighting. But that takes a long time.
Looking good yes sonic gives some good tutorials for painting figure's to a good standard look forward to next update 👍
The Sikh infantry looks great , and that's a crap tonn on vehicles 😯
Can't wait to see some of those armoured cars in action 😁

These look great. I am so psyched that you chose to go with the Sikhs. They look awesome. Cannot wait to see them in action! Love the tanks as well!

Love the Sikhs Travis they look great👍 No Crusaders Tanks? You've got everything else! 😄 those armoured cars are very cool.
I have one crusader already for my Australians.

Thanks! I using Bugmans Glow from GW for the skin.
Coming together nicely. May I ask where you sourced the .stl files for the vehicles?
According to Padilla they came from Thingyverse and wargaming 3d
@@tabletopcp Many thanks! I'm doing 8th/DAK with some of the Perry boxes, so will definitely look into this.
Excellent progress on this project, I’m really tempted in doing a 8th army for Bolt Action but would need to sell my Russians first 🤔🤷♂️🙂
Ma man don’t sell anything. You will regret it.
That’s a load of tanks Travis! Tank Wars incoming?
Yeah and some what a tanker
I like your sikhs they look really good and i also would have had some crusader tanks as well just cause i think they look cool(dont think they were too good?)
I have one crusader already
Where'd the STLs for the vehicles come from?
From Thingiverse and Wargaming 3d
Where are the Honeys? Gotta have the zoomy tanks 8-)
I do not have one of those. Yet.
fairly quickly- a few months! 🤣
Why is the Bren team ‘3 man’? I thought LMG was just two men, the one with the gun and the loader?

The three man set up is for Chain of Command. It’s still two men for Bolt Action.
You forgot the honey stuart
Yes. I am missing those. I will add some.
