  • Petrified Forest, located in northeastern Arizona, is a unique landscape renowned for its vast deposits of 200 million years old petrified wood. The park, established in 1962, spans approximately 600 km² and showcases a diverse array of geological and paleontological treasures, whose centerpiece is the extensive collection of petrified wood, remnants of an ancient forest from the Late Triassic period.
