This has happened to me before one time my mom threw out my Invisalign on accident. I also one time dropped my Invisalign in Disney world. I had to switch plates early and it was tight at first and hurt but after 24 hours it felt fine again and my teeth were able to adjust to the new trays:)

I remember when I first got Invisalign I would always lose them somehow in a napkin because I was too lazy to put them in the case😂 Eventually I had a system of keeping them in the case.. it gets better!

My boyfriend like an idiot put them in a tissue and crumpled them as if he blew his nose in that tissue and I picked it up and threw it out because I thought it was a dirty tissue which was bad enough I have to throw out a grown mans used tissue I’m thinking but then he told me I threw away his Invisalign... he unfortunately didn’t realize until the next morning when I had already taken the trash out and the garbage men picked it up..... put it on a paper plate or in a cup on a plate if you cannot find your case

Usually it should only be uncomfortable for a few days and really nothing longer. Check with your dentist to see if the trays are fitting you properly or if they need to make any adjustments.
