Plan visit for 1 month, will be worth it. PS. Many people taking rest in Bieszczady mountains, there is much more bears, and Buffalo's (Bizon in pl) Greetings from Poland
It is also worth mentioning that Poland is the safest country in Europe. If you accidentally fall asleep on a park bench in the evening, the only person who will bother you up is a policeman to tell you that a hotel is a better place to sleep.
I recommend you to watch the channel The Writing Traveler, it is the channel of a Dutch woman who loved Poland and lived there... I show all of Poland, various places... I show what Poland is really like....
The way how Warsawa was repaired, is that there are panoramic paintings of the whole old city center. What was later restored according to them. It is considered as one of few mega-constructions in history of humanity.
I liked how you said "I would like to move there". Poland has everything: mountains, forests, forests, lake districts, cold sea, beautiful sandy beaches and even a small desert. Poland has something about it that even those who emigrated to wealthier other countries and beautiful exotic countries such as South Africa still miss Poland, the peace and idyllic landscape and Polish food.🙂
we are from usa and we have gone to poland 2 times and planning our 3rd trip for next year. our last visit was for 1 month and we still have not seen everything. Krakow is a must {5days for us}, Warsaw 2 days, Gdansk 2 days, Zakopane if you like hiking i would say 4 days minimum. We have not been to the lake district yet, next trip. All areas have there own feel. Many more places that is why we are going back. Oh yes and the food.
You can certainly skip Zakopane ( too expensive, but mountain hiking is ok ) and lake district, you have much bigger and cleaner lakes at home. A must should be Wroclaw 3 days and Torun - at least 3 days.

Poland has everything - mountains, sea, forests, lakes, cities of different character, but does not has one thing - stable weather. There are rainy weeks in summer, and in winter snow falls less and less often, sometimes even there is no snow in the mountains. In short - the weather is a lottery. IMO, the worst weather is November and the beginning of December - gray and gloomy, the fact that it may snow doesn't change much, because it usually melts quickly. The above "Top 10" was not shot in November, for sure. My advice is to speed up your arrival to Poland to arrive before November, but first check the long-term forecast to see if it predicts any rainfall. Either come before Christmas or right after - there will be Christmas markets in Wrocław and Krakow, you can also go to the Tatra Mountains, see the salt mines in Wieliczka, which is attractive regardless of the season ;-).

I recommend seeing Podlasie. Foreigners visit cities, the Tatra Mountains and castles etc. Well, I haven't seen any films (and I've seen a few of them😊) about Podlasie. I'm from the south of Poland (the great city of Bielsko-Biała called little Vienna). I've traveled far and wide in Poland (that's what we say), but I was completely enchanted by Podlasie❤
rebuilding of warsaw was based on gathered photographies and paintings of the city and was a mass effort, fun part is few buildings got moved in it's entirety to different locations to make space for new modern clasics
Skiing in Zakopane is only one mountain Kasprowy. It’s beautiful but it’s not a big area. Except for Kasprowy there are only small hills for beginners low enough to not guarantee snow conditions through whole season. Although if you visit zakopane in winter, it’s good idea to go for skiing on Kasprowy for a day or two. But for a week long skiing holidays choose rather a big alpine resort.
I also encourage you to visit Krakow. There are also many other big, medium-sized, and small places worthwhile to visit. You won't be disappointed to visit Poland.
One place worth mentioning would be Katowice which is much less turistic than Krakow but is really nearby. Its a capital of the most industrialized region in Poland. It has tall buildings like Warsaw but also pre-war and modernist architecture. You can also see some nice places in the city like Nikiszowiec district. You can visit Silesian Museum to interactively learn the history of Poland and the region. You can go to nearby town to go 355 meters uderground into a coal mine (Guido). There as also old Silver mines to visit. You are close to Beskidy mountains. Katowice and the surroundings ("Metropolis GZM" or "Silesian Metropoly") is one of the biggest urban areas in Europe, much bigger than Warsaw. You can cross 10 cities in a single bus drive not really leaving the urbanized area 🙂. And there are still beautiful parks (Chorzowski Park) or forests 10 minutes bus drive. All the best!
There is also the largest naive art festival in the world every summer in Katowice - Giszowiec in closed coal mine lamp room building. Artists from all over the world ( also from Africa ) display and sell very colourful pictures.
Now many foreigners decide or intend to live in Poland for safety reasons: from England, the Netherlands and Sweden because they feel threatened by the huge flood of emigrants from Africa and Islamic countries. And Poland is a homogeneous nation, when you see a person with a different skin color in small towns, it arouses interest and it is either a tourist or an English teacher. I asked one of them what his impressions were of Poland, and he replied; "Why is everyone looking at me, why is everyone looking at me?" - I replied - because maybe it's the first time they see an African-American in real life.😄
My country has got one of most beautiful white sandy beaches similar to the ones in exotic countries. You definitely should visit the Hel Peninsula. Most stunning views and there is a spot called Mewia Rewa in the middle of Puck Bay where you can go by boat and it like a strip of the beach in the middle of the bay. It's amaze balls. It's a favorite kite surfers' spot. Another place not mentioned in the vid is Kazimierz nad Wisłą, cute small town by the Vistula River used to inhabited by a lot of Jewish people and now it's a town where a lot of artists come to paint and stuff. Also Stawy Milickie in Dolny Śląsk region. And Książ Castle. And Srebrna Góra Fortress (I actually live 5km from it 😁). And Góry Stołowe which literally means Table Mountains. Also Mazuria Lake District with hundreds of beautiful lakes for sailing. Poland is gorgeous and there is plenty to see and to awe at. Yeah, you definitely should come & live here for at least a year to see everything.
After World War II, Warsaw was rebuilt, among others, on the basis of paintings by, for example, the famous painter Canaletto. At the request of King Stanisław August, he painted many paintings depicting views of Warsaw. He painted these paintings in the years 1767-1780. These paintings can be seen in the Royal Castle in Warsaw. When it comes to nature, there are many green areas inside cities. Even in tiny towns there are parks, or even several. And outside the cities there are many forests. 30% of Poland's area is covered by forests.
People go skiing in Austria because their mountains are higher and there is always snow while in Tatras there might be a week without the snow. And the routes are longer in Alps.
We are what we are. We just like someone to drop by, have a beer, eat a casserole or dumplings, chat with us and have a fun time. Crime is lower than in the west, people may be sadder but if they like you, they'll invite you home and give you food. Everyone is welcome here. One rule - respect our culture and traditions.
At the Baltic Sea, I like little touristy towns like Stegna, Jantar, Jastarnia (I love this one especially) and Hel. I love Zakopane and all the hiking trails around it in Tatras Mountains. Although many people don’t like it, I love Łódź. The architecture there on Piotrkowska St is a lot different from other cities and Łódź also has a beautiful very old Jewish cemetery with beautiful architecture. Also, check out Biskupin. I have never been there but would love to see it.
You need to go to Zamek Moszna, near Opole - and of course come to Opole too! It’s small town for 1 day trip, perfect when you’re coming from Krakow to Wrocław ☺️ Opole is a capital of Polish music ☺️
Wrocław! For sure great city ;) Meeting place ;) Tons of places to see in the city. And there is Kłodzko Valley for hikes and skiing. Not as crowded as Zakopane and Tatry :) Also many UNESCO sites in one day trip range.
Check out Dolny Śląsk - There are so many places to see that it would take me an hour just to mention them ;) Książ Castle, Czocha Castle (known as the Polish Dracula castle), Chojnik Castle, Szklarka waterfall, Kamieńczyk waterfall, All the Sudety mountain chain, mines in Kowary, the whole Kotlina Kłodzka with its beautiful rock formations... I meant it when I said it, I could spend an hour talking about this single region of my country :)
Around Jelenia Gora there is the largest concentration of old castles and palaces in Europe, however some of them are in bad condition. Poland hopes to make the area a UNESCO site.
You must visit smaller towns in Poland such as: Lanckorona (town of lovers), Moszna (with a beautiful palace), Wieliczka (salt mine), Kazimierz Dolny (city of culture and artists), Sandomierz (beautiful old town), Gniew and Lidzbark Warmiński ( Teutonic castles), Gierłoż and Mamerki (wolf's rampart, Nazi bunkers), Tykocin, Bardo, Reszel, Checiny, the trail of eagles' nests in the Krakow-Częstochowa Upland and many others that I could write about all day long. Each town in Poland has a rich history from the Middle Ages to the present day. It is not as old a history as Greece or Italy, but it is very dramatic and involves many losses and suffering.
If you be in Poland you also should add Toruń to the list. Even half day, city old town is beautiful and have best gingerbread in Poland definitely, maybe in whole world. Like you go to the good store that be a whole candy store but with difrent gingerbreads.
@@BB.Beyond.Borders And when you're in Toruń, don't miss the viewpoint on the city located at the opposite side of Vistula river than the old town. That's breathtaking. You can see all the skyline of the city including the cathedral, where Nicolaus Copernicus was baptized (yes, he was Polish xD ). Even his baptismal pond is still there.
Actually, indeed we don't have to leave the country because we have everything from high mountains to sandy beaches. But Poles also like to travel and we can be found basically everywhere ;p
10 is a really too short list xD I can tell you probably more than a 100 must-see places in poland right now. We really have everything here and my favourite place on earth is Mazury (masuria lake district). It is such a magical place, where in every square kilometer there is something to discover. I've visited problably more than a 100 amazing places just in Mazury.
There is so much more like desert ,moving sands ,Białowieża forest that is last primeval forests of Europe,Zamość ,Lublin,Toruń,Sandomierz ,food is good in Poland
I recommend east part of Poland: Lublin and Zamość. Roztoczański Park Narodowy ( Roztoka National Park). Kayaking On Tanew and Wieprz Rivers. Further on south east you can visit Rzeszów- main logistic hub for Ukrainian help and support. And Bieszczady Mountains - wildest subregion in Poland. Very beatifull especially on atumn.
the cities mentioned in the video look and in fact are very similar due to their german-ish history or influence. Gdańsk, Wrocław, Szczeciń would for centuries be under german's (Prussians or Austrian partly) rule and have been formally incorporated to Poland only after WWII (the cities themselves had their own vibe tho, they were somehow neither 100% german or polish or anything else). Warsaw would be more of polish-polish (also architecture but it's been widely destroyed in the war). Having said that, if you come to Poland you should also pay attention to Silesian Region for it is very unique and worth visiting - there's a lot of brutal history due to polish-german conflicts with the czechs influence in some parts. And the silesian language (or dialect, call it what you want) is also very unique but almost forgotten - however it's becoming quite cool to know silesian, silesian signs and slogans are usually used in common spaces in the Upper Silesia so it really has a nice spirit to it. Fun fact, if you ever wonder how polish language would sound in its early days somewhere around medieval - silesian is reportedly the most similar to the old-polish.
If you go to Poland I can be your guide! Really that would be great, I'm a sociologist studying in Poznań but I studied extended course of polish history, so if you would have any questions I can help❤❤❤
I once saw Rysia (lynx that big cat) in the Białowieża park - an unforgettable experience. I recommend the palace of culture and science is like a scar on the face of Warsaw. The communists built something like this in every country they came under their rule
I live in the city of Wrocław mentioned on this list. But I don't understand at all why Toruń, which is really beautiful (not to mention the longest railway viaduct in Europe), is missing. Sorry for my English, I come from the generation that was forced to learn Russian
Warsaw was destroyed completely during WW2 by Germany on Hitler's direct order after Warsaw's Uprising that took in August 1944. But raised up like Phoenix from ashes thanks to drawings that survived the war, was rebuilt like was before the WW2. Today, Warsaw is the raising star of Poland and EU, Varso tower is the tallest building in European Union.
As long i'm not fan of living here i must admit, Poland indeed have a lot of greenary, I live in a city that has one of the highest shares of green space in the country and i absolutly love that👌❤️
I love mystical part of Poland where I grew up , Kielce and Holy Cross mountains located in Swietokrzyskie voivodeship (Where the witch on flying broom came from Baba-Jaga) there is so much to see around Kielce everything is so different and magical then rest of Poland sadly its not visited by You-Tubers yet. Holly Cross region has so many hidden gems even rest of Poland is not aware of. ruclips.net/video/z42cjoub3ks/видео.html
Ski resorts in Poland aren't just that much developed as those in Alps. As far as I know the ski routes in Alps are also longer, there is also more of them, and there is a broader variety of tourist attractions.
Oh! This funny "clock tower" was built by Stalin's puppet government (yes the same Stalin that invaded Poland in September 1939 and is responsible for Katyń massacre) as a "gift" and is a symbol of Soviet dominance of Poland. There are discussions if it should be teared down (I think yes) because it's ugly and reminds us of times we would rather forget.
@@BB.Beyond.Borders The palace of culture is a monument to our Russian opressor. It can no longer stand in a free, democratic country! Especially considering the war in Ukraine...
It can't be demolished because it is a listed protected building. Like it or not, it became a symbol of Warsaw ( Eiffel Tower of Paris ). 4 clocks on the top were installed at the end of XX century and they are called Millennium Clocks. They were manufactured in France and are run by a very precise device adjusted from satellite.
@@mecx7322 Ok. But would you like to have a Hitler statue in your town? I think not. And Stalin is a similar figure to Hitler: both occupied Poland and both are responsible of millions of deaths.

Starsze pokolenie było uczono języka rosyjskiego i niemieckiego. Język polski to nie ukraiński. Owszem młodzi Polacy znają j. angielski ale np. rosyjskiego już nie.

Greetings from Poland🇵🇱❤
I always smile when I hear "G"e!"dansk", that's a funny accent, and it makes me smile, all the time. Ah, I'm from Polen btw, this is why I hear it ;)
Visit the salt mine in Wieliczka, near Krakow. Thank you for all your admiration. Ela from Wrocław ❤
We’ve heard the salt mine is a must!
We agree! Thanks for taking the time to leave this message ❤️📍
Someone told us this as well, that’s crazy!
Hi guys, i like to see your reaction for Gdańsk, if you like Szczecin so much.
Jak będziecie w Krakowie to koniecznie zobaczcie - Kopalnia soli Wieliczka
Everyone says this is a must👀
People go skiing in Austria because their mountains are higher and there is always snow while in Tatras there might be a week without the snow.
We love this ❤️
Amazing culture
Polish Nashville 😀
Bieszczady mounrtains and Solina Lake is my favorite
It’s on our list 👀
Wrocław! For sure great city ;) Meeting place ;) Tons of places to see in the city. And there is Kłodzko Valley for hikes and skiing. Not as crowded as Zakopane and Tatry :) Also many UNESCO sites in one day trip range.
Thanks for sharing 💫
Old town in Klodzko is outstanding with biggest steep sloping market square in Poland.
hi, guys , nice video, I would suggest you visit Zakopane and Tatra mountains , once you there you won't want to leave
So many places!!! It’s unreal
@@BB.Beyond.Borders Just come and see them :)
Around Jelenia Gora there is the largest concentration of old castles and palaces in Europe, however some of them are in bad condition. Poland hopes to make the area a UNESCO site.
🎉boom i'm from poland
architecture similar you said because you look at 12/13 century - it was one kind of architecture back then in Europe
I wish they could of preserved more
You must visit smaller towns in Poland such as: Lanckorona (town of lovers), Moszna (with a beautiful palace), Wieliczka (salt mine), Kazimierz Dolny (city of culture and artists), Sandomierz (beautiful old town), Gniew and Lidzbark Warmiński ( Teutonic castles), Gierłoż and Mamerki (wolf's rampart, Nazi bunkers), Tykocin, Bardo, Reszel, Checiny, the trail of eagles' nests in the Krakow-Częstochowa Upland and many others that I could write about all day long. Each town in Poland has a rich history from the Middle Ages to the present day. It is not as old a history as Greece or Italy, but it is very dramatic and involves many losses and suffering.
We agree! Smaller towns feel more homely and cosy, people are even more inviting to travelers passing through ❤️
If you be in Poland you also should add Toruń to the list. Even half day, city old town is beautiful and have best gingerbread in Poland definitely, maybe in whole world. Like you go to the good store that be a whole candy store but with difrent gingerbreads.
Sounds awesome! Who doesn’t love some good ginger bread 😋
Even his baptismal pond is still there.
poles love to explore.. and we love to be explored :) smaller cities is what you want.. :)
The smaller the better! That’s where the magic happens
Actually, indeed we don't have to leave the country because we have everything from high mountains to sandy beaches. But Poles also like to travel and we can be found basically everywhere ;p
Beautiful country and Beautiful people
10 is a really too short list xD I can tell you probably more than a 100 must-see places in poland right now. We really have everything here and my favourite place on earth is Mazury (masuria lake district). It is such a magical place, where in every square kilometer there is something to discover. I've visited problably more than a 100 amazing places just in Mazury.
4:36 it's actually more expensive than Italy/Austria/Switzerland
There is so much more like desert ,moving sands ,Białowieża forest that is last primeval forests of Europe,Zamość ,Lublin,Toruń,Sandomierz ,food is good in Poland
So much to offer!
Let me know when you would like to return to Poland so we can arrange your visit here ;)
🎉
Visit Torun !!!❤ I can be your quaide😁😁😁
I recommend visiting Warsaw, Gdańsk and Masurian Lake Disrict.
I recommend "Wyżyna Krakowsko-Częstochowska"
Thank you 🙏🏻
How you will plan your trip. It is worth visiting the Pustynia Błędowska (Desert)
Zamek Ogrodzieniec (Castle)
Cieszyn
Szczyrk
Wisła
Regards
👍👍👍
🙏🏻
If you go to Poland I can be your guide! Really that would be great, I'm a sociologist studying in Poznań but I studied extended course of polish history, so if you would have any questions I can help❤❤❤
We might just take you up on this offer❤️ sounds amazing 😻
Best city Gdansk
So many beautiful cities to choose from ✨
Second only to Wroclaw
I once saw Rysia (lynx that big cat) in the Białowieża park - an unforgettable experience. I recommend
the palace of culture and science is like a scar on the face of Warsaw. The communists built something like this in every country they came under their rule
we invite you to Poland
I live in the city of Wrocław mentioned on this list. But I don't understand at all why Toruń, which is really beautiful (not to mention the longest railway viaduct in Europe), is missing. Sorry for my English, I come from the generation that was forced to learn Russian
Thank you mentioning this! Will definitely check it out 📍
Kocham RPA.
Zapraszam również na podlasie gdzie tam czas się zatrzymał
Warsaw was destroyed completely during WW2 by Germany on Hitler's direct order after Warsaw's Uprising that took in August 1944. But raised up like Phoenix from ashes thanks to drawings that survived the war, was rebuilt like was before the WW2. Today, Warsaw is the raising star of Poland and EU, Varso tower is the tallest building in European Union.
You are welcome to visit us again so you soon👋 😁🇵🇱
We will be back soon 👀
i love poland and im patriot :>
As long i'm not fan of living here i must admit, Poland indeed have a lot of greenary, I live in a city that has one of the highest shares of green space in the country and i absolutly love that👌❤️
That’s amazing
You should learn about Szczecin, This is awsome city in Poland
I love mystical part of Poland where I grew up , Kielce and Holy Cross mountains located in Swietokrzyskie voivodeship (Where the witch on flying broom came from Baba-Jaga) there is so much to see around Kielce everything is so different and magical then rest of Poland sadly its not visited by You-Tubers yet. Holly Cross region has so many hidden gems even rest of Poland is not aware of.

Ski industry and infrastucture in Poland isn't developed as much as in Slovakia for example. Alps are far on another level :) Greetings!
But you can still ski in Poland from what we understand?
@@BB.Beyond.Borders hi :) yes, you can along almost whole south border
Ski resorts in Poland aren't just that much developed as those in Alps. As far as I know the ski routes in Alps are also longer, there is also more of them, and there is a broader variety of tourist attractions.
Karkonosze, Podlasie
Hi Look Bydgoszcz
Crazy that it still stands today! One would think it would be demolished because it was a symbol of those horrible events
And Stalin is a similar figure to Hitler: both occupied Poland and both are responsible of millions of deaths.
pls react to "Bielsko-Biała - a city always for people [ENG]" and welceome in this city;)
Hi please check the Lublin and Sandomierz kind regards from Poland EU🥰
Wrocław should be read as "vrotz wav".
Wirtualna parodia kanapowców 😂 Tylko real!
5:11 But it's to dangerous
You need to see SILESIAN site in Poland like KATOWICE
Will add it to the list 😻💧
You start from cleaning ✌️
Hi Guys!!! I Love Your Channel! Great job!!! If You plan to visit Szczecin and Baltic Sea by sunmer BE MY GUEST!!! I WILL SHOW U BEST PARTS OF POLISH COAST 😀😁🇵🇱
GERMAN concentraition camp.
KAZIMIERZ DOLNY
Whiteout Tadeusz Kosciuszko will be not USA.
Perhaps more without Kazimierz Pulaski.
Learning about Poland with the Polish community is one of the most amazing things. Poles seem to be so in love with their country. Making videos like this and then read peoples comments and interacting with them is like learning the country on a whole new level. Who needs to spend hours researching and paying someone to plan a trip for you when you can learn from the locals and get the best travel advice!
