Hi Cosimo! Nice presentation! A modulating control valve could help solve this problem? After the system with feedback.

I gave an answer but it was incomplete.... I am not really sure what a modulating valve could do. If you have 1,000 GPM one side it means you need to have 1,000 GPM one side (for cooling or heating purposes), a modulating valve, chocking that flow, wouldn't allow the cooling or heating needed.... if you cannot design a system with a balanced flow then we will have to design the heat exchanger itself to minimize the consequences of the imbalance..... I hope it helped, but I am not sure :-)

Hi Cosimo...Will adding more plates help?

Well, no actually would make things worse. The challenge is to have a shear stress high enough on the low flow rate side, and if you add plates, you add channels and therefore you slow down the flow even more.

Hello cosimo.....how we can vary the cooling capacity of phe manually ??

@@surenderdodwadiya2849 I am not sure I understand the question.... but you change the performances adding or removing plates (assuming you have space in the frame) but it is not something can be done "on the fly" it implies a few hours of a couple of technicians...
