- Integrated farming is a system which tries to imitate the nature’s principle, where not only crops but, varied types of plants, animals, birds, fish and other aquatic flora and fauna are utilized for production. These are combined in such a way and proportion that each element helps the other; the waste of one is recycled as resource for the other.
This above documentary on Integrated Farming is shot at the real locations of the picturesque hill- station, Almora, state Uttrakhand, India.
The farmers, Prabhakar Bhakuni and Pushpa Kandpal are doing the commendable job of utilizing the agricultural waste of their fields in such a sensible manner, that it converts into real wealth of their fields. These progressive farmers of Almora are a role model for the community.

भाई प्लेन जगह है तो ज़रूर करो। मगर हमारी ज़मीन तो पहाड़ों पर है जहां छोटे छोटे खेत होते हैं सीढ़ी दार और कुछ खेत पानी की गाड़ के पास हैं मगर वहां भी सभी के छोटे छोटे खेत हैं। ऊपर से उधर सर्दियों में भालू और बाकी समय दूसरे जानवरो, बंदरो का आतंक। सरकार तो बोल देती है, मगर जो लोग पहाड़ों पर हैं उनकी असली समस्या कभी हल होती ही नहीं।

Where can I find this type of land to purchase in uttarakhand?
Sir, this success story of the farmers is shot in village Hadoli, dist. Almora. In our understanding, farmers there didn't any special land ( or any close proximity of water or other amenities) but the idea of doing integrated farming in such small land holdings, converting every waste of agriculture into wealth, has been very special and innovative!
