If you are doing mba from top b schools in india , and if not from iims or isb , even if u r doing from from tier 2 colleges, you will get a job and get placed if you are not zero. I have seen 3 example in this very year , who were very average students but did their mba from siib , fdi and iim r and all of them were freshers with no such great background. All of them have been placed in good companies. So if you r doing it even from top private colleges, u will get placed

But please don’t fall for this trap, you have to accept the fact that at some point in time you will take wrong decisions, fail and mess up! Only way to succeed is to keep trying…. Give yourself a deadline to research and create some parameters based on which you can take decisions. Once the parameters are met (time, fee, difficulty level, avg salary) - take decision and give your 100%!

Mid-level management is easily achievable based on experience, the competition gets tougher for limited senior management roles and MBA (tier-1 brand) always comes in handy while competing at such level.
@@aditya_shelaris it impossible to get director or vp role with only btech ? Atleast in the company (MNC),I dont see many VPs with MBA except for marketing profile. I don't know however if this trend will continue in future.

@@LostSoul979 Cool, sounds fair enough! And MBA is completely optional, though would recommend you to- in any possible way - keep pushing your self out of comfort zone. Either by trying or learning something new, or same thing in depth. In long term, only potential risk is uncertainty, and it is always safe to be prepared for any type of challenges... Such a detailed video! I'm a BCOM 2022 grad and want to appear for CAT 2025. I'm 24 and worried about the age factor if I get selected for any of the top b schools. I don't have any certifications as such. I request if you could give some advice.
Focus on building something strong! You are still very early (just 24...you are getting started). Think what you want to do for next 20-30 years - something great in technical filed (tech, finance, ops, etc.) then simply go for certifications + work experience and build it over time. If you want to be part of show biz profiles - sales, marketing, front end CRM, etc. MBA would be better choice. Again, this is too general as an advice, take it as a guideline, but feel free to follow your take/decision and it can be irrespective what I say! All the best Sandip! I hope my advice helps :))

And with a non-tech bg it's even more difficult to land a good paying job. I can only afford FMS but there too the bets are really high. If you are going to do an MBA at the end of the day then don't pursue bsc as bsc students get less preference in top clgs as compared to bms/bba (note I'm assuming your pursuing bsc in tier 2 clg)

Mid-level management is easily achievable based on experience, the competition gets tougher for limited senior management roles and MBA (tier-1 brand) always comes in handy while competing at such level.
@@aditya_shelaris it impossible to get director or vp role with only btech ? Atleast in the company (MNC),I dont see many VPs with MBA except for marketing profile. I don't know however if this trend will continue in future.
@@LostSoul979 If Btech from an IIT/tier 1 college, then no stress; if Btech from avg college - VP is achievable in 12-15 years.

@@LostSoul979 Cool, sounds fair enough! And MBA is completely optional, though would recommend you to- in any possible way - keep pushing your self out of comfort zone. Either by trying or learning something new, or same thing in depth. In long term, only potential risk is uncertainty, and it is always safe to be prepared for any type of challenges... Such a detailed video! I'm a BCOM 2022 grad and want to appear for CAT 2025. I'm 24 and worried about the age factor if I get selected for any of the top b schools. I don't have any certifications as such. I request if you could give some advice.
Focus on building something strong! You are still very early (just 24...you are getting started). Think what you want to do for next 20-30 years - something great in technical filed (tech, finance, ops, etc.) then simply go for certifications + work experience and build it over time. If you want to be part of show biz profiles - sales, marketing, front end CRM, etc. MBA would be better choice.
Again, this is too general as an advice, take it as a guideline, but feel free to follow your take/decision and it can be irrespective what I say!

And with a non-tech bg it's even more difficult to land a good paying job. I can only afford FMS but there too the bets are really high. Anyways I might end up starting my own business from scratch and reach out to you for some help :) Also, I love how simple yet logical this video was. You got a new sub!

If you are going to do an MBA at the end of the day then don't pursue bsc as bsc students get less preference in top clgs as compared to bms/bba (note I'm assuming your pursuing bsc in tier 2 clg)
