+Sky Rasmus I think it's a good speed for the way the lanes are laid out and the size. This also let's the travel mechanic have a spot in the game, which adds more risk/reward to the travel movement. I think it's fine.
The developers have focused gameplay mechanics and balancing, etc. Once that is mostly complete or fully complete, they will finish animations for the characters or improve and/or add animations.
13:05 Nice ult, and 16:50 another great triple kill. Gotta make sure you pick up the exp that the heroes drop though, each amber orb is worth like 100 instead of minion's 10
I haven't played the game yet but from what I can tell, high damage characters like Gideon and Twinblast, deal such and absurd amount of damage they can obliterate tanks. And tanks can't deal enough damage to kill the squishes. Do you feel like tanks, at least in the games current state, are obsolete? Or do you think they have enough crowd control and tankiness to make them actually viable in team fights right now? Haha complicated questions! :D
+ThePinkRubberDucky I'm no MOBA expert so bare with me, i'll try to answer as best as possible! From what I played at the Paragon Event I felt that exactly what you feel, characters like Gideon and Twinblast can kill tanks so quickly they really have no chance especially because they do hardly any damage. I don't think they're obsolete, I just think people haven't quite figured out the best way to play a tank in Paragon. You're playing in 3D space so it takes a while for people to adapt and use this to their advantage.For example, a tank and ADC go well together because you can quite literally stand in front of someone and absorb as much damage, while the ADC fires through you towards the enemy. Gideon goes down quite quickly imo and you can knock him out of his ult in the first 1.5sec I think. It's too early to judge imo because people didn't get enough time with the game (we only played 5 games) and even then we were jumping from character to character. I definitely think the game is heading in the right direction though. I hope this answered your question! If you have any more feel free to ask :)

This game looks incredible and a pic of Gideon on an ad is what brought my interest to the game in the first place. Having said that: Is it just me, or does it seem like this game is being played underwater? All the animations and attacks seem so slow like I'm watching it play out in half speed. What's with that?
+Sky Rasmus Movement speed and the speed of the game is one thing that the developers have said they are constantly tweaking to improve. Earlier videos will show the game slower while newer videos show a more faster movement speed, which prove they've listened to our feedback :)

Animation of running - looks weird because torso is like in Mechwarrior Mech where legs are moving and torso can turn around in static... Other stuff is cool, well beta etc.. I like this flying mode, cloth simulation and models a lot

hes my favorite, but he sucks so bad mid to late game. he deals no damage, and takes no damage to kill. his teleport becomes useless due to eveyone just being able to catch up some how. and then you have busted heros like rampage. OP damage, OP defense, and OP mobility. just sucks my favorite hero is redundant

Lol that game is going to get stale after a week. You talk about repetitive? It's a minimalistic MMO style shooter, and the shooting isn't very good. Not to mention ubisoft has notoriously terrible servers and online games.
Sean Bryant I played the BETA and it was great. Too random to be repetitive to the extent of Paragon. well as far as im seeing you choose a character and tap the same move about 30 times until you get a power up to kill a bunch of weak AI. Then you get to the boss and do the same over and over. But I dont know much about this game...maybe im wrong
+BLVCK_GODZILLA also if this is the only gameplay of the game you have seen, there are many other hero's to choose from aside from this mage. There are stealthy assassin's who roam the jungle, tanks who get in the enemies face and front line, hunters, warriors, supports, etc. If the mage looks boring to you, chances are there is a hero who would fit your playstyle.
TheGometa I think there's a reason SMITE, LoL etc keep effects and graphics simplistic. This game, while the graphics are top notch, is too flashy and busy to give that direct feedback you need for a MOBA on top level. They might change it, but right now it looks too slow and delayed.
