Very helpful. I had COVID, two seizures, and a troubling EEG last summer. Now I am very healthy and stable, but on lowest Keppra dose for safety. Now I’d like to figure out if my ongoing seizure risk is diminishing (as COVID inflammation is gone) or if I have reason for concern. I’d love to find an affordable home system with simplest eeg to warn me about signs of seizure patterns. Then I could pursue professional follow up. Thanks for any tips exploring such systems.
Very effective explanation and great presentation. I've had dozens of these procedures myself and never understood it as well. Much respect from Colorado, USA.
Vestibular Question...Can pppd or other inner ear issues show up on an eeg? What I mean is can an inner ear issue cause misfires in the brain due to the wrong signals being passed through ears, eyes, brain ect?
Thank you very much for these explanations. I'm a first year PhD student in Clinical Psychology and I would ask to you and to all the participants of this conversation if someone knows about GEODESIC (EGI). Is a 256 dense-array's EEG and I'm just approaching to it. I would like to understand the potential of this machine in the research. Thanks!!
Suppose that there is an area of high conductivity within the brain how would this affect the potential recorded by the EEG electrodes around the head?
Best explanation ever ❤️ I wish the whole world had teachers like you 😞
Thank you.
Man this is a refreshingly in depth video. Tired of special superficial videos glossing over topics on RUclips
Thanks a lot for this basics, this is the first time learning about even if seen for almost two decades

Excellent explanation.
I just cannot grasp how two frequencies can superimpose from the same channel recording.
Delta: 0.5 - 3
Theta: 4 - 7
Alpha: 8 - 12
Beta: 13 - 30
Gamma: 30 - [i can't remember]
...enough said.
Moon Caster beta 14 - 45
10x! Continue with the good job, man.
Thank you, for a great video!
All the best
tq so much for your help and support for the explanation of the eeg........ god bless you...........
It is a calculated/reformatted reading.
You are so great. Thank you so much for your generosity. From FRANCE.
very informative in such a record time,, thanks!!

Thank you very much! Very informative and well explained.
This tutorial is great!
Very very good n made easy to understand different waves.....
Thanks a lot..for this one n many more....of this type.
very informative and very well explained! Thanks!
Thank you for your kind
Very helpful, thank you
Thank you very much for explaining this, you made it very easy to understand. I'm currently studying Neurophysiology. From London :)
Hey! Hope you have completed Neurophysiology with flying colors.I'm currently working on a project related to this, can you please help me out with it?
Great video! thanks a lot!
Glad you liked it!

THANK YOU SIR.. YOU ARE HELPING ME SO MUCH !
from Saudi Arabia
Very informative, thankyou sir.
Sir, your video's are excellent. Thank you. Eeg technician , Heeze, the Netherlands
there is a potential difference taken between o1-CAR . which one is common average reference?
thank you.
Great stuff, thanks a bunch!
How does super imposes effect scoring, would you look at the wave or the super imposed waves? And how does this apply?
i would also like to make a little correction- beta band is between 13 and 30 Hz, higher frequencies lie in gamma band :)
Great lectures. Thanx a lot
thank you for your efforts
but i want to ask what about the gamma rhythm you did not mention it here
thank you again

What does it mean when you have a faster frequency superimposed on a slower one?
When 2 frequencies occur simultaneously, their summation appears as if one frequency is resting on top of another.

I do not understand your question.

ty sir
THIS SHIT GETS ME SO EXCITED. #TURNUP
can anyone explain me how they are numbered, like in he right side i get that it would be even, but still the number varies.. so kindly help me
Impressive!
Why isn't the amplitude of the types of waves (alpha, beta, delta, etc.) not discussed?
Not that important
OK thank you
Welcome
at 8:22, How can one get O1-CAR? Is the O1-CAR(common averaged reference) calculated or a direct reading? I guess FP1-F3 (8:12) is a direct reading.
Doctor- Please give me more! :) You could take some time and please give me a EEG-102?????
Bahut nice guide Kar rhe sir plz. Isko Hindi me bi translate bi Karke batao sir plz. Kyonki me EEG . PFT EMG NCS. Ki training Kar Raha hu
❤❤❤
WHY NO F5 & F6?
Sir very nice understood plz. English to Hindi translate understood I am weak English speaking
thx more plzzzzzzzz
