Great video shooting and interesting information about Konya!! Turkey in general is my favorite place to visit especially in winter time hope I can visit soon!!
Hind - I can't tell you how wonderful it is in winter when the crowds are less and because of COVID restrictions, it makes it easier to travel with less congestion both on roads as well as in tourist areas...but I miss cafes and restaurants - so I have not had that part of experience yet... But the weather in Southern Coast is almost exactly what I'm used to in Southern California.
Thanks Belal - Konya surprised me - there's a whole new part of town that is now up and coming too..The area around the museums is very old..but the new town has a lot to offer...I'm dropping another Konya video in the next few days...so stay tuned...HINT: 5,000 year old caves and I snuck into them at night!!! lol
Much appreciated! I love how Mevlana Rumi plants gardens of words around the most basic Quranic texts..for me I love tracing the origin of his inspiration back into 3-4 words from Quran and seeing how he planted a full garden of flowers and trees around those words...what a gift we have to share!
Dear Suhein; Wait a minute, your videos are so good, I couldn't help myself. It's like having to watch them all at once, it has a magic. Greetings from Istanbul.
Glad you like them! That's SO kind of you to say... I'm in love with Turkey and I guess that is what I feel I MUST share...and the poetry is out of control - haha...
really it's a very cool and interesting video I saw when I saw it I felt very excited to visit Turkey and see the wonderful Turkish city of Konya with its monuments and Beautiful areas as you explained the video as like a story it's a professional god bless you we are waiting for more of these wonderful videos. please keep it up
Aslam o alikum suhein, I have been to turkey many times but never to konya, I am planning a trip insha allah to Istanbul and Konya this year if all goes well, you used the word YEARNING which is the first thing that came into my mind when I started watching your video,my heart erupts with joy every time I hear the name melvana rumi or konya, there is something peaceful and holy, please pray Allah swt makes my pilgrimage to konya a reality ameen. Enjoy Allah swt second chance to a beautiful life, stay humble, may Allah swt give you peace, health and happiness ameen 🇹🇷❤️
Hello sweet soul...It is EID and yes I will make du'aa for you to make your pilgrimage(s) to Konya and if Haj is next, then inshAllah, your next one too! I hope to go back for Haj, I only did Umrah so far... As for Konya, please also go to SILLE and walk around between ASR & MAGHRIB and feel it...then make du'aa for me! Blessings to you!
Like your video very much Suhein it’s my wish to come and visit Romi and shams’s Ziarat one day. I am so glad I can read Romi’s poems in my native language and I am come from where Mawlana Jalalden Mohamad Balkhi was born
You are VERY lucky to be multi-lingual and enjoy these great masterpieces as well as the beautiful songs and other poetry in your native tongue...You probably have a poet spirit in you as well if you were born in same town as Mewlana! See if you can tap into that...
Something drag you to Turkey just like a magic, i've been in Konya in summer 2019 its very intresitng place fill of positive power. i'm interested to know more about how does tourist life looks like now in Turkey in general. I believe its not like before the pandemic, but can't imagine what the tourist can do there ? . very nice video, can't wait to visit Konya again.
Magic is the KEY word with Turkey!!! I wished I could describe more about Konya and it will always have a special place in my heart. To answer your question on tourism...honestly I LOVE the fact that it has been so quiet and less congested! I get in and out easily and I Love the quiet, peacefulness... Restaurants are just now beginning to open (as of last week) and almost all museums are open except on Sundays for lockdown...I pray people still take precautions though...If you see most of my videos I am wearing a mask and only take it off when I absolutely know I am alone and far from others. Turkey awaits you...
Wa Alaykum al Salam...this is a HUGE compliment and I am humbled...InshAllah the soft beautiful and spiritual touches of Islam is what the world needs to see instead of the stuff they see on media and news... thank you Brother...
Welcome to Türkiye Sister. I am so happy to see you here being an Abhaz migrant from Abhazia that we had come to İstanbul in late 1800. I would happy to meet you in Abhaz home offering circassian chichen:))
Truly truly truly the heart of Turkey! I just discovered that Konyaalti is named after KONYA ALTI which means South of Konya! I left my heart in one of those 5,000 year old caves in SILLE, KONYA!!! I will NEVER forgot those moments!
" There is something more, there is something magical, there is something mystical " I never saw someone, let him/her be from Turkey or from outside confess this fact, though they feel it. I think no one knows the answer. But whatever that thing is that even it keeps those who hate, dislike Turkey still somehow attached to her. Maybe it is as one of the Turkeys most famous folk poets, Asik Veysel said in his famous poet, BLACK EARTH (KARA TOPRAK). MY TRUE FRIEND IS THE BLACK EARTH. Maybe this black earth gives people hope, energy, acceptance of the most unbearable. Maybe it is this this feeling that even I am alone I am still living on my friend Black Earth.
The darker the soil, the richer the minerals...and I can taste it in the vegetables...Turkey is blessed in so many ways and I pray with all my heart that it stays protected... A couple of days ago I was driving between Antalya and Alanya and I stumbled upon the ancient city of SIDE...and it absolutely captivated me...so once again I must say part of the magic of Turkey is the "element of surprise" that it keeps offering me - every time I take a wrong turn - it turns out to be a wonderful surprise!
Good morning from Canada my name is Ahmad I am thinking of moving to Alanya in few month. Would you please help me when I arrive there I know you met few great Turkish and sharkac people there I don’t speak Turkish. Currently I have to say Turkey. The most dangerous thing is when freeways are littered with trash and objects like Hone Depot orange buckets, ladders, and shopping carts! Here the roads, even though they are older, smaller are kept up immaculately. Bathrooms are a while other story. Gas station bathrooms are always spotless and elegant here..I know sounds crazy, but true. Generally I would say here is cleaner and maintenance is excellent.
