    Thinking of replacing my 2023 KQ with these tires. Have you had any issues with yours?

    In Canada just move that decimal one place to the right and should be about the right price for here. Man it is incredible how much cheaper things are in the states than in Canada.

    Great video those are my dream tires and rims ! I have a 2008 King Quad 750 with 135 miles on it lol ! I just use it for plowing snow and ice fishing. I really think my OEM tires suck and have read where these tires being radials really make a huge difference. I always wondered if going up a size would be a mistake with rubbing issues ect. since I do run chains on mine with ice fishing. But seeing that aggressive tread maybe I wouldn’t even need chains anymore ! Thanks again 👍

    Its been a while now since you did this. Qaud looks awesome! Are you still happy with tire and size choice? thank you

      Yes I am! I'm glad I didn't go extreme with the size difference. It's a little more meat, the tires handle great in the terrain we have here (dirt trails, rocks, minimal mud), and keeping them just a tad bigger than stock makes it easier for the clutch to handle. I haven't had any ill effects and the steering feels nearly stock as well. There is a little more push during slow maneuvers and the steering feels a bit heavier going slow, but at speed it feels good.

    Did you notice a power loss with the taller and heavier meats?

      I have not noticed any difference with the "butt dyno." I'm sure there is some difference with regard to the clutches and engagement but it feels just the same as before. Over time if the clutch starts slipping a lot I'll know I need to consider some upgrades, but I'm pretty confident for my riding style (plowing snow and moderately easy trails) everything will be ok.

    Looks nice. What size on front? How does it steer with bigger tires?

    • @GearTubeTV
      @GearTubeTV  Год назад

      26x9x12 on the front axle. I don't even notice a difference to be completely honest. I've heard others say the steering feels heavier but I haven't noticed any difference except maybe at low speed maneuvering on hard surfaces. In motion on the dirt and rocks, it feels like it did stock. I only went up one size in height and one size in width. I try to be more conservative when it comes to driveline stuff because I don't want to go down the rabbit hole of "well I got huge tires so now I need better CV axles" etc.

    Just a FYI, for the people who don’t know what to look for you should show people the rotation and what it looks like.

    Did you go with the factory off sets on the rims? Your ride looks nice! Very nice upgrade

      Yep, I went with the factory offset, which if I remember correctly was 5+2. It kept things pretty tucked within the fenders but just enough sticking out to let you know they were upgraded. I've ran them this winter in the snow - awesome tires. I think it's a pretty good package for the $800 range.

    Did the four wheeler ride rougher with the new tires

      At slow speeds you can feel the lugs of the tires, but at speed it's smooth as butter 👍

    Did you tune your speedometer? putting more lengthy tires will impact the speedometer and make it out of tune

    Right on !! Where did you order your wheels and tires? Thanks!!

    • @GearTubeTV
      @GearTubeTV  2 года назад +1

      I ordered the wheels and tires from Dennis Kirk. When you order you can have them mounted and balanced by Dennis Kirk or you can have them shipped separately for you to get someone else to mount and balance.

      Quick question where did you find the rear wheels? With 2+5 offset? Or did you use 5+2 offset all around? Thanks!!
