      I'm so sorry for your loss Toni, it's great that you have the memories. I too, have fished with my father at a young age. Summer time is a little slow for my posts as I try to spend every other weekend up at the cottage on the water. My father is getting older and trying to spend as much time with him as I can. I even got my don into fishing last year and the 3 of us have a blast on the boat fishing 😊! Thank you for taking the time to share your story. Also thank your BF for the compliment ☺️!! Have a fantastic day and can't wait to see yours when your done 👌😊❤️🎣

      @@thecraftyshopper4007 awww ty so much you always have such kind words.....I was both of their baby so I was spoiled all the way around being an only child,yes I cherish the memories......my dad u felt robbed of the last 3 months he was here because it was the first 3 months of COVID and I was so afraid to go to him fear ud carry it over there but I know in my heart he knew and passed away knowing I loved and cherished him and momma I miss them terribly but I know they are together and they are smiling and will never see this crazy world and the way it's turned out and they will never cry or feel pain again I'll see them one day and we'll be together again
      Your story about fishing and your dad,cherish every moment with him you seem to have so much love in your heart,just things you say and the care and love you put into your projects tells it all,I feel sometimes listening to you talk like I've known you forever I cherish our messages and your encouraging words and advice if anything I can do to make something look as great as yours
      Stay safe out in the water when you go back but enjoy your summer
      Sending luv n hugs ❤️

    I only use the DT spackle for my Jenga projects. I love it. When it dries all you do is sand it and paint over. I probably have 15+ containers right now. I bought a bunch when doing home projects and had a good bot left over for my Jenga projects now. Win-win. Hope you can find some.

    • @thecraftyshopper4007

      Hi Ashley, I wasn't looking for any, was just asking if anyone tried it. I started this awhile ago as I found it easy to manipulate the shape and give the overall surface a smoother finish. I first tried it on my jenga block barn on the roof and thought wow, this is amazing. Clay shrinks after awhile and the spackle is cheap enough to buy. I seal the spackle with Mod Podge as it won't absorb the paint too much . Happy crafting 😊

    Great job I'm in the process of making one n I'm keeping it for my grandson when he gets older right now he's into cars n he's 2 1/2 almost. Thanks for sharing it. We're those fires up in Canada close to where you live.😊

      Thanks Rose 🌹!! Aww, I'm sure he will appreciate when he's a little older, especially when you made it ❤️!!! Yes, one of the fires was about 1.5 hours from us near our cottage but it's contained now 🙏. We did last week have 3/4 days of smoky days, I felt like I was at a campfire 🔥!!! Happy crafting ❤️

    Could try to hang rthe shark where the lure is idk if it would be to heavy gonna have to try it :)

    • @thecraftyshopper4007
      @thecraftyshopper4007  Год назад +1

      Hi Vikki, I did think of that but your right it was too heavy but it was also too thick and long. I wanted to the lure to not touch the bobber. I wanted the rod to be positioned in an more upright position. I would have to level the rod more horizontal to fit the shark. Hope that made sense 😅

    • @thecraftyshopper4007
      @thecraftyshopper4007  Год назад

      You have to lay them flat or stacked sideways along the ruler and let each section dry before you actually build the bobber or any of my builds.
