Hi thank u for the video. I have a question hoping ur able to answer it for me I have a williams wall furnace gas valve p323011 jumped wire 1 and 3 it kicked on found a brake in the wire so after replacing the wire and jumped it several times meaning 3 to 4 times back to back to make sure it was working on the 5th time it didn't kick on . I'm assuming the valve went bad or solenoid is bad perhaps? Any recommendations. Also the top safety switch is working .
Hi Ally, Thanks for the video. Can this type of furnace can be controlled by digital thermostat (i.e. Honeywell) instead of analog as shown? Can't find William analog thermostat in Home Depot. Mine was working for a day then stop, the pilot is still on. When pilot is on, furnace is off: 1 - 2 0.430 DCV 1 - 3 0.430 DCV 2 - 3 0.0 DCV Any thought? Thanks!
1-3 is your tstat ,tstat wire and mail limit at the top. so your generator is the same with tstat on and off so your stat is not closing. 2 things to check check to see if u have 430 at your tstat with it off. if u have zero its your limit is tripped if u do have 430 at stat hold leads on it and turn off and on see if drops . if not it needs replaced or some sliders have a dial on it spin that around to drop resistance . yes u can put a digital on most will say on them millivolt compatible
High limit switch needed to be reset, thanks. Working now.
Great video, high limit switch was the culprit. Thank you!
thanks for watching. if u want more videos on furnace and wall heater troubleshooting leave a comment hit that like button
The multimeter is on the wrong setting, needs to be on millivolts dc

test 1 &3 and see what the drop is. u want less than 80. if it dont turn on . see how much voltage u have on pilot.
Thanks everyone. If you have any furnace video ideas please let me know
