    this audio book, so brilliantly read, is by far the BEST.
    it brushes all nonsense off the "market of spiritual methods of should-do/-become".
    my deepest gratitude to Ramana Maharshi, the impeccable reader and to all who give birth to that jewel of an audio book and to you who posted it.
    Thank you from Kenya 🙏🏽😇🇰🇪

    In Turiya the mind is still somewhat active-see kundalini pandit Gopi Krishna,s kundalini awakening experience.
    In Sattva Samadhi inner peace reigns supreme-see Eckhart Tolle.
    In Nirvilkapa samadhi the mind/ego is no longer an obstruction, see Sri Ramakrishna.

    Turiya samadhi has a tenous connection to the mind, see Gopi Krishna.
    Acquiring the state of total inner peace as reflecting the Satva guna,Sattwa samadhi is the result, see Eckhart Tolle.
    The total annihilation to all obstruction,s of consciousness called the ego in the superconscious state,is SAHAJA samadhi.

      Dear Listener, this recording has some copyrighted music in the video so YT plays ADS to collect revenue for the record company. I have no control over the ads that appear as it is all RUclips placing ads for the music companies as I used copyrighted material in this old recording. My channel is not monetized so I make no money from them or the ads that appear. I try not to use copyrighted music anymore. If you purchase a RUclips premium subscription you can avoid ads. The responsibility is all on your end.

    no matter how many times i listen to the be as you are series ... new points hit the core .... timeless truth by sri bhagwan ramana, the true guru. Just out of interst Samanera how much of the book is in this playlist? 50 percent? 100 percent? Just wandered if it worth me buying it.

    Perhaps its important to distinguish the vasanas inimical to realization and those that aren't.
    This is described at length in Tripura Rahasya, published by Ramana Ashram.
    "109-12. The vasanas not inimical to realisation are not weeded out by the best class of Jnanis because they cannot seek new ones to crowd the old out. Therefore the old ones continue until they are exhausted and thus you find among them some highly irritable, some lustful and others pious and dutiful, and so on"
    Inimical vasanas being distrust of the guru and teaching, the vasanas of action (or thinking there are higher priorities in life than liberation), as well as the vasana of desire and so on.

    According to the Internet you are the first female to be ordained in Thailand I don’t find that to be what I thought I knew pema chodron was ordained in

    • @SamaneriJayasara
      @SamaneriJayasara  3 года назад +3

      Hi Nancy, I don't know what internet source you found that said that but I certainly wasn't ordained in Thailand and I'm certainly not the first! I only took my samaneri ordination a bit over 3 years ago. I first ordained as an anagarika (8 preceptor) 15 years ago then disrobed for some years. Dhammananda Bhikkhuni, the 74-year-old abbess of the Songdhammakalyani monastery, flew to Sri Lanka to be ordained in 2001 as Thailand's first female bhikkhuni (nun) in the Theravada Buddhist tradition. I think Pema Chodron and Tenzin Palmo were two of the first ordained Western nuns in the Tibetan tradition.
