"Bhagavan could recognise spiritual maturity in the people around him. He could also discern it in the animals that came to him. One day, Bhagavan’s mother asked, “Why does that dog always like to stay in your lap?” Bhagavan turned to me and said, “This dog is always in unwavering samadhi. A great soul has come in the form of a dog. Mother does not know this.” That Bhagavan had ceased to identify with his body was clear to me when he and I were walking on the forest path around the mountain. Having stepped on a thorn, I was lagging behind. Bhagavan stopped, came back to me and removed the thorn. Later, Bhagavan stepped on a big thorn. Lifting his foot, I was astonished to find many thorns sticking out of it; some were old and some were new. I lifted the other foot and found the same. “Which thorns will you remove?” asked Bhagavan with a laugh. Then he crushed the protruding thorn with the foot in which it was embedded and happily continued to walk." ~ Rangan (read more in the book 'Face to Face with Sri Ramana Maharshi')

What is the use of being enlightened if it is not for relieving the suffering of humanity!, Look at Neem Karoli Baba, he was helping people all the time! Read Ram Dass' Miracles of Love which recounted a thousand miracles experienced by Baba's devotees! He is a true saint!

I was so foolish until I saw this who found listening to videos of Shri Ramana boring becuase it had no magic or supernatural thing in it! but how wrong was I! These supernatural stuff that some siddhas show off on purpose are actually the obstacles in their spirtual life but some like Neem Karoli baba its's something that can help others! Shri Ramana has taught me something today! A thought has come to my mind to feel that place where he lived!
U.G.a famous Indian mystic admired only few gurus.he called Sri Ramana as a real McCoy.
Does anyone know the name of the background music on this video? I loved it.
Thank you 🙏
Bhagavan is an enigma, he was enlightened with full powers, yet he seldom healed people bcos he did not want to be seen as a miracle man! What is the use of being enlightened if it is not for relieving the suffering of humanity!, Look at Neem Karoli Baba, he was helping people all the time! Read Ram Dass' Miracles of Love which recounted a thousand miracles experienced by Baba's devotees! He is a true saint!
Beautiful. 🙏❤️
thank you

I once saw a man who looked very peculiar, one of a kind with a moustache (not many people have a moustache in my country). Then I arrived at a flat, where I had never been before and immediately I saw this same man. When I asked him he denied. I know what I saw though. Anyway just adding this to show that certain things can happen which seem impossible to us.
Papaji lived many miles away from Arunachala and at the time he was seeking a Guru. He met an old man who told him to go the Ramanashram. When he got there he was furious because the old man was Ramana Maharsi. The attendants at the ashram assured Papaji that Sri Ramana had never left the sacred hill.
@@moopius Thanks for sharing. Great story and I didn't know it yet.
@@moopius Back in the '90-ies I was young and ferociously bhakti, adored bhagavan for months, followed all his instructions meticulously. one day bhagavan gave me upadesha and the Self was revealed. many samadhis, blissful bhavas. My life changed abruptly and dramatically. Some months later, bhagavan manifested to me as a real person, though not exactly looking the same. the strangest thing is, I had recognized this fact many years later, during the event, this knowledge was only subconsciously registered. these beings who achieved completion, do all sorts of things to their bhaktas and they are ever accessible.
Ramana Maharshi is Shiba Himself. Walking Shiba of Arunachala.
I would appreciate to know where I can find the pictures of the younger Sri Ramana that appear in this excellent video. Namaskar.
There are pictorial biographies of Bhagavan and books with many pictures of Bhagavan and Arunachala. You can get them from the Ramana Ashramam bookstore in India (or thru the Ashramam website). If you are a resident of the United States, you can get it from the Arunachala Ashram in New York City (Jamaica Estates, NY) or order from their website.
Hey!! how’d you know all these stories??

Light body trespass through body so there is no resistance that's why in this body shadow not falling in Earth. Which ordinary people can't see. Example of lord Krishna appear front of arjuna to see his light body by Krishna grace.
Can this state be addictive?
Yes
Bliss indeed is "addictive" ! ! !

If that is a question, as the text intimates, answer aligns: Sri Ramana did not want crowds of people overwhelming his abode, seeking and pleading for miracles that were focused only on the body-mind. Very understandable, for me.
@@francoisdelmar3 Thanks for answering. I have known Romana Maharshi's work for a long time. In my opinion, he is one of the purest yogis who ever lived, like Tat Wale Baba, Ramalinga and others. I always recommended books about his life and work to my students. I also remember a letter in which Sri Aurobindo responded to a similar question. The question remains.

I don't understand what's the need to have dramatic and misleading headlines. It's not about powers, Bhagawan never spoke about his powers. The title of this video should have been " revelations about Bhagawan by his classmate".
Because this guy haven't gone deep into teachings of sri ramana
The jewels of Bharat.
Taking on the negativity of students and penitents can build up and cause cancer. This also happens to confessional priests.
