Man Def Comedy Jam used to be an event at my house every weekend back in the day.. Then come Monday at school me and my friends used to imitate the comedians.. Those were great times..

martin is the original host of def comedy jam! this was beffore his tv show, before the movies and such. ICONIC!!!! after his show took off, he couldnt commit to both so Joe Torry came in as host. Joe Torry frrom strictly business and poetic justice. His brother Guy Torry is also a comedian, he was in American History X. he also made a couple appearances on def comedy jam as well.

Guys Chris Tucker has been doing stand up comedy for over 20/30 years. He had a residency in Las Vegas recently . I don’t know if he’s still there currently but his stand ups are hilarious. I’ve seen him in person at least 4 times .
Since you're doing Def Comedy Jam, you should check out one by Tony Roberts with Mike Epps as the host. Tony Roberts starts off with some, "You need yo' ass beat!" notations 😅 He also talks about a bodyguard getting knocked out 😮😂 I.E. : Tony Roberts is wearing a red shirt in the description.

Man this takes me back. I was like 10-11 years old when I found this episode on VHS that my brother recorded when this first aired. Key word "found" because I definitely was not allowed to watch this show even with adult supervision 😂

"Def Jam", as we lovingly used to call it, was much-watch TV in its day, especially when Martin hosted. Bernie Mac's appearances are also classics.
