I like the photos but I'm really not a fan of baiting wildlife for photos. Ultimately it puts the wild life in danger becoming more habituated to human behaviour. Also, for me, there's something special about witnessing an animal that is fully in its wild and natural environment and behaving completely in its natural way. Just something I really appreciate when I'm out photographing wild life.

Artificial shallow container is dangerous for the kingfisher! He might misjudge the depth of water and hit the bottom.

How legal is it to use live animals to bait wild animals for photography, I wonder?

How do I photograph a kingifsher in flight just after launch, there's problem taking pictures with Nikon d500, when put on 3d focus tracking it doesn't give the 9fps when it's time for execution but only gives 3 or 4 fps

Excellent, the second one was not nessecery, all the info was in here. If you want to make the diving video, I would be very happy to come and help you shoot the video with you so you can concentrate in the content whilst I manage the video cameras. Just drop me a message via any of my social media.

Really enjoyable and informative. I like the idea of a floating tray. I hadn’t thought of that one. Some imaginative shot too. Fantastic little birds. Thanks for posting.
