Great penalty taken by Anthony Gordon under a lot of pressure, and the old stalwart that is Matt Ritchie saves the day.

Longstaff needs a rest, Burn exposed due the absence of Joelinton and Willock, time to remove him from the firing line, midfield worn out due to lack of fit midfield players and Tonali ban.

while i'm ok with getting a draw instead of losing the game, this type of performance needs to stop, don't get me wrong when I say that I grew up on the entertainers and the whole 'ok they scored three goals, now lets go and score four instead', it was wild at the time, but in this modern age where so much hangs on tactics and other aspects that weren't as fleshed out back then, this sort of performance will end up backfiring badly very soon and I really don't want to see that happen.

Dan burn is the main reason why we have lost/drawn many of our games this season and there comes a point where the blame shifts from the player to the manager for constantly picking him

Every week that goes by its harder and harder for Eddie Howe to start Livramento. Looks like he has no guts to do whats necessary, and now if he does, it will look like he's done it because the crowd and media are baffled while he's watched Dan B get shredded on the left for 4-5 games and caused us to lose points. It will look like its not his decision, and he will dig his heels in. Watch Dan B start against Arsenal and it will be a hammering......Then he will know what pressure is! Hasn't got the metal to do whats right! Hes a bit lost is Eddie. Its not Big Dans fault

How can a player be in inactive offside position, when he was in offside when the pass was made in that same action, and someone fouled him and he got a penalty during that same pass. Didn't he activate the offside with that foul/pen?

Premier League managers aren’t stupid. They look at Newcastle and ask “how do we beat them”. Newcastle press high from goal kicks and push their midfielders up… so they put the fastest player they have, wide right, and use them as an outlet over or around Dan Burn. This happened at least 3 times in the first 10 mins - and Solanke should have scored. This “weakness” has been apparent the last 5 games…I’m not getting at Burn - he’s been a HUGE part of our revival, but it’s a fact that managers have sussed him out. So - he either needs more protection from midfield, or, Howe needs to use Tino… in a stranger way I hope Schar needs a week off… and Howe moves Burn into central defence and plays Tino… if he plays Burn again at Arsenal, we will be on the wrong end of a heavy defeat.
