Thank you soooo much for sharing. I just ordered a green stalk planter. I am a newbie
You’re very welcome!! I’m glad was helpful ☺️
Great harvest! I am looking forward to my deck garden harvest.
Thank you!!! Hoping yours is abundant too 💚
Absolutely beautiful harvest!!! I forget. What do you fertilize your Greenstalk plants with to produce such an amazing harvest?
Thank you!! For this Greenstalk I added the “Espoma Garden tone” organic granular fertilizer when I amended the planter in March. I also added compost, but I think that the fertilizer is what made the difference this year. The plants grew a lot faster than last year by far!

@@MarisGardenandKitchen Thank you so much!
What a fantastic harvest of leafy greens. The Greenstalk really seems to produce healthy plants, even with some pest pressure like in your case the aphids.
Yes, absolutely! If I plant them in the ground they get all eaten up by slugs. Even with the aphids, you can barely notice the damage. I love the greenstalk!
@@MarisGardenandKitchen I am excited to harvest my first batch of leafy greens in a few weeks. 😍
Wow. Amazing.
Thank you!
Nice harvest.
Thank you!!
wow. cant believe how big your lettuces are. I'd love to see how you wash and store your produce. It is overwhelming to bring in that much at a time. How do you cook all of that choi?
Hi Ilene, I make sure to have my sink all clean and then I wash it wall at once with water and soap, rinse it up, then I fill up my sink and let them be in there for a big for the bugs to float out. After 5-10mins I remove them (leaving the water there) and then dry using a salad spinner. I make sure to pick up all the greens first before draining the sink to make sure I leave all debris in the water. After I pass them through the lettuce spinner, I store them in big containers with a cloth underneath so absorve the excess water. I cover with another cloth, then a lid and they last for a very long time when stored that way.
For the bok choy, this time I blanched them, then sautéed with garlic and ponzu (Japanese soy and citrus sauce) and it was really good! I just cooked the whole thing so we could eat left overs throughout the week. But they loose a lot of volume when cooked, so was actually not as much.
O meu Deus, que alfaces lindos!
Muito obrigada!! 🥰🥰
Vontade de comer uma salada 😊
😋😋😋
I loved your video, but oh my goodness did I get dizzy watching it (camera motion).
Thank you for the feedback. I’m trying to be more mindful about that in my most recent videos
What seeds are best?
I have a video showing the seeds I used for this one.

How long does of take for all of it to grow back?
It depends on the variety and how warm the weather is. Usually 1-2weeks for baby greens and a little longer for a full head again
