What a lovely space, thank you for sharing. I would imagine it's an absolute blessing to have outside space in NYC and I'm sure passersby must be uplifted by your beautiful garden.
Thank you so much! Yes, we feel extremely fortunate that we can have a little green space in this crazy city! And we love connecting with our neighbors that pass by too. I specially love to see the excitement of the kids when they see the garden. They always have the best questions!

You don't have a problem with rodents?
We have lots of squirrels, they dig everywhere and sometimes still the tomatoes- But everyone here has to deal with them. We also spotted some rats in 2021, so we decided to not grow any root vegetables anymore, only things that fruit above the ground and I try to harvest as early as I can so there’s not much food to attract them. In 2022 we didn’t have a problem with them, so hoping for the same this year!
