Best advice I've seen so far. Be yourself. Thank you!

Thank you. You make so much sense. I love the self awareness and being more objectively analytical in looking at your own posts and motivation. I’m a maker in a totally different field but I can still learn from people such as yourself. :)

Your comments about education / people getting a career out of the workshop are true. I have almost 11 years of post secondary and my primary job is in a clinic/office, but what I really like to do is be in my shop.

I'm watching this video in 2024, treating it as very useful info. Your short-form content is consistently wonderful, and listening to your long-form content is... just as wonderful! 😊🙌

I totally agree with your view on politics……leave it out…causes way more problems than it’s worth. I respect another persons point of view, but please respect mine too, even though it may be different. The part you talked about leaving the farm to work in the Big City, only to go home at night to watch the stuff your GP’s did,to relax is very relatable. Which one reason why I have been watching your vids. Takes me back to my young days, and rekindled my love of Woodworking….To the point of considering setting off in a 2nd career after I retire. Keep up the good work and vids!

Hey Dusty. Would you create a video about strategies for Makers on TikTok? Or is it to similar to RUclips only shorter length content?

Love your content and you are talking about some great stuff. If you’re interested in monetizing social media we gotta talk! Got some huge stuff coming out and you seem like the person that I should do some work with. I subbed to your youtube channel and I hope you can show support back. I’ll be watching you more often!
