Funny thing about this song. . I remember it being used in a curad (band aid type bandage) commercial in the 60's or early 70's The words went:

Somewhat. The mountain dulcimer isn't so much this instrument specifically but rather what it evolved into later in time, i.e. the mountain dulcimer doesn't yet exist
