Out of all the Overland/4wd RUclipsrs you 2 have the greatest sence of humour out of the lot. I'd love to see a collaborative trip with you too, maybe drag Fire to Fork along and i think the dynamics would be spot on!
Man I watch a lot of these camping / 4wd vids on RUclips. Often they come across as struggling trying to fit in a bit of fun along with all the damn filming. My four absolute favourite channels, not in any particular order, are WA Camping Adventures, Intents, Seek Adventure (sadly no longer posting) and Foreman and Wilms Adventures. The thing I think that makes all four of these special are the personalities of the people running them. There are plenty of other excellent channels but the ones that appeal to me most are the ones where I feel I would love to sit by a fire and share a beer and some tales with the creators. Want to keep the solar screens on, a couple of lines of silicone will do the trick but it does make it a pretty permanent fixture :) Have to comment on the hatchet to remove fallen trees too. Unless you enjoy the extra work a reciprocating saw makes it soooo much easier.
I'm with ya there, it's the ones who put their genuine personality and commentary into their work which are the best, you can pick it from that cookie cutter TV presenter, full of cliche "how good is this" one liners bullshit in the first few seconds of a video I reckon! Silicone might be a little too permanent for me but hey if it eventually frustrates me enough I might go there 🤣
I bought the Mrs an AOS King single flannel sleeping bag and it’s super comfy, I have the Burke and wills flannel sleeping bag and that’s brilliant too, some ideas for Pete.

I've thought about doing that myself. I know every one says to carry your water down low in the vehicle but the roof is the most convenient spot for me
@@Alex.G ye I thought I'd rather put it on the roof and have the hose instead of installing a rear bar and have the extra weight of that and the water hanging off the back. I don't know which is better but I know that not having the steel bar weighs less!
Good stuff mate. I used plenty of the sticker type velcro for the solar screens, i got the cheap screens from the local autoparts store and cut it to the size of the back windows, but works well.
suction cups: clean the glass from grease and dirt, clean the cup, some moisture on the cup then straight onto the glass, the trick is it requires a bit of maintenance
3m out door mounting tape, clean up the area with some wax and grease remover, them solar screen puppies wont be going no where. You guys need to do more videos its like watching twins run around on camera lol.
Nah having a fire pit doesn't get around fire bans, unless you're using it in a suburban back yard and it's not a total fire ban day. Then it's a cooking fire 🙂 we actually shot this in September so it wasn't an issue for us
does anyone know the headroom at the cargo area of a LC76 series? I have been searching everywhere but no luck. I find only overall outside dimensions. Cheers in advance.

Soaking the suction caps in hot water bring em back to life. Mine are still stuck on to the car. Cleaning tint also helps before sucking them on.
