It took me like 5 or 6 tries to get this model completed, but with the help of your video, I was able to do it. Thank you for taking the time and making this tutorial! Great job!
Whew! I did it! First try... Though I probably did over-use the pause button and I rewatched multiple segments more than once. At the point where the video indicates you can fold to either side and it doesn't matter which I went with the opposite way than the video example and ended up getting really lost. I went back and made sure what I was seeing was what I was doing... That made a huge difference. This is a really cool project. Thanks!
Wow! At first I thought it was some kind of modular origami. Anyone who can make this thing has some real talent. I didn't make it but I still liked it!
This is a great video. I am a novice origami folder, but I think I could do this. It makes a much nicer Star of David than the simpler ones, and yet is not too hard!
Great color and the music is excellent, I appreciate all kinds, dubstep, rock, country, folk, hiphop, grunge, there are good pieces in all genres, thanks for the tutorial, watching the hands fold and listening to music is like an escape. There are some posts that I put on the mute button and listen to a podcast, then fold along. Thanx again
yes you are. there is nothing wrong with this video. i have used it as reference for like 5 stars. just because you have no skill doesn't mean you can get mad at him for nothing. there is no need for him to talk either. it's easy enough to follow.
wow, really difficult but so worth it in the end my first one took me an hour, then I got better and started to thread them on string as christmas decorations I am so impressed, keep them coming!!!
When showing the two options at around 7:20 I could only collapse to the mirror image of the one the tutorial continued with. As a result I had to keep flipping the instructions for the remainder of the video and wound up with star with a counter-clockwise orientation. Getting that last overlap correctly was very tricky and took a few minutes. However all said and done .. a great video!
Omg, I can't belive, such a good music in this video! Aria is just beautiful! This version isn't the one that I like more, but still good one! Btw nice star have made one myself. Thnks!
@shoutatthesky100 if you cant make it, than that's your problem not hers. she's explaining it to people and i dont really see you trying to explain an amazing model like this one. Thank you barbabellaatje, keep up the folding
david star that reminds me a hand sign, if then appear in your hand you are like a magician who can control magic good and bad and you have to do something in this world, but that is not you gave a mission in this world''''incredible power of the hand and its name is that the star of david
Even een berichtje uit Nederland A massage from Holland. Yes, you are international!!!! Thank you for sharing. I took a while for it was done. Whit out your help i had never ever thought tis out by myself!! So thank you very much. In Holland we say, dank je wel.
Star of David is known as "Kagome (籠目)" which means "patterns of baskets (made weaving bamboo)" in Japan. It is one of the most sacred symbols in Japan and engraved on old stone lanterns at Ise Grand Shrine.
Great video! I'm curious about the ratio of the size of the sheet of paper to the size of the finished star. I'd like to try making a bigger star. I wonder how big a star a 12x12 sheet of scrapbooking paper would produce.
it was really great! but can u help me out to make a star of david cufflinks in a smaller piece that could be stronger. can it be made of a metal sheet.
Is there anyone who could offer guidance on collapsing hexagon step (around 7:00)? I'd REALLY love to make this thing! I've replayed the section 20 times and still can't catch what's actually being folded. Thanks in advance!
for everyone that said they couldnt do it... im 11 years old and mine turned out perfect. it took alot of time and i had to pay close attention but i did it u just have 2 have patience.
i think your video is great... but im used to EZorigami speaking and telling you how to fold it... sooo it was kinda difficult for me to understand it but i am advanced at origami so i got it didnt come out well but i did it nice job i hope you make more incredible stuff... P.S. im not jewish
@MrC0dGamer So sorry to hear that :( I had a blast! The instructions are perfect and the video really good. The result is beautiful. Will be doing a lot of these, thank you very much for your hard work making this video for us! :)
Thank you very much for making this video. :-) This is a beautiful model. I agree it's somewhat difficult and requires patience. Some of the difficulty seems to come from making a six sided model from a square. I can't help but wonder if there is a way to make this from a hexagon.
To those watching who are having trouble - Just follow her hands and do the very same things she does. She doesn't speak, but she points things out. Also, have patience. I'm not a very patient person, but I laughed about how weird this was and tried the same thing for about 15 minutes straight.
This looks pretty cool, if you can make it. Not for the beginning おりがみ (origami) folder, but more for intermediate and advanced folders. If you have skills at folding like Rob (RobH0629). Check him out! Just search Rob's world in YT and he'll appear. He's got lots of cool stuff you can make with a sheet of paper or origami paper.
I need to do any symbol that relates to a WW2 book called lisa for school. I was going to do an origomi star of david, but its to confusing!!! now im getting someone else to do the origomi.

excellent.. I initially thought just a piece of paper.. but it needs somany folds to make a David star finally ... really superb..
