FS Thunderbolt 1003 - (Broken Solenoid) - Hi-Lo - Sumner, IA - 10/5/21

(Siren Starts at 1:11) Alright, so this 1003 was in need of a new video so here it is. I'm personally not too happy with how this video turned out but at least I got an updated recording of this thing. There were a bit more cars and trucks driving by due to the construction just down the road to the right. I do apologize for the trucks that drove through my shot. My original filming spot was occupied by cones due to the new cement that was recently put there so I had to think of a new spot to set up. I was originally going to try to get an ambiance recording in Sumner but unfortunately wasn't able to due to me running late. I will eventually come back here to refilm this AGAIN & possibly get an ambiance recording if I have plenty of time. I might even film this 1003 from a different angle next time! I don't think that this 1003 was supposed to be running in Hi-Lo so I'm not going to bother telling them about the broken solenoid. The 2001 that you hear in this video is less than half a mile north of this 1003. I hope that it's not there to replace this 1003. If it is, I hope this 1003 stays online for as long as it lives. After the test, I wasn't able to stay in Sumner for the noon blast of their Fedelcode due to me having to go back to school at noon. At least I already got a new video of Sumner's Fedelcode last year. All in all, this siren test was very successful and this 1003 was still as loud as ever! I definitely recommend visiting this thing if you can because it is a fun experience to hear up close in person! That's all I gotta say for now. Check out the info below!
