Reality:
You go to place the thatch, but every square inch of land is pillared
No snap points available just leave 😂
On unofficial servers, pillar spam preventing anyone else from building a base gets your pillar and foundation shit wiped, and you get a warning about it for the first offense. Second offense, your whole base gets wiped and you wake up on the beach again. Third offense, just a hard ban. You been told twice, third time is just no more tolerance.

Going in the dense jungle always made me anxious. Once I decided to conquer my fear by going into the forest for me than 5 seconds. Now I was playing with sound off cause the sounds made me even more anxious. Then, I noticed some rumbling. I turned around to see a Carno rushing towards me. I never went to the dashboard so fast in my life

The spino always on a side of that peninsula in south 2, always showing new players they ain't all it
Since I can greatly relate to this, I’ll tell you my story on it.
One day, about 5 years ago I download ark mobile because it looked fun. I decide to spawn in (don’t remember where but I know it’s where a lot of people spawn at) and go up a little hill to build a base. I play for about an hour learning the basics of the game, taming a dodo and 2 dilos, and making a thatch base. In about 3 days I manage to tame 2 low level barys, put up spike walls around my base, and reach a good level with hide armor. But then I see it, I look at it with my spy glass, and I see it’s a level 85 spino (yes I remember the level) and it’s coming towards my base. Still being new, I don’t know what to do, so I try to put my saddle less barys in a spot, kind of defending my base. Before I know it, the spino charges, and my barys try their best to defend. I get out my crossbow and start shooting it. But one of my barys fall, the first one I tamed still stand though. I see the spino accidentally climb over the spike walls, changing its aggro from my bary to me. It starts destroying my weak thatch house and damaging me. But as it destroyed the first couple walls, it started running. But that’s even worse, it’s stuck on some of my base, meaning its trample is extra deadly. But soon I finish it off. I stand there, looking at what’s left, a half broken house, a bary and my dilos dead. But I’m still there with my first bary and my survivor dodo. And I wish I recorded it, because it was one, very epic fight.
I never thought I'd see the day where I could actually relate to one of these...
And then the Therizino attacked 🔥_🔥

Been there multiple times only one time I was able to defeat one, and then got killed by a pack of raptors.

Guys for therizino try to tame a sacro and get is saddle then with a sacro is kinda easy to kill annoying therizino
For a easy area its not so easy
But good resources you can find there tho which makes it pretty easy to grind but live with fear of predators near by

On carno island, for beginners its not the best but if you have enough lvl for the scale armor stuff (I forgot it's name) the scorpions give alot of the stuff needed for the armor, which depending on how you set it defends really well against even the Rex, also with alot of big dinos, you can tame a rex with prime meat then conquer the island
West zone 1 is easier
Happened to me too 😢 I had my base fully built, then saw a spino lurking around closely and always hoped he wouldn't find me, but eventually, he did. After he killed me multiple times, one day, I finally managed to kill him, it was a gloryful day. And when I tamed my first spino, it was even better. Now that big boi reached Level 80 and slaughters every random NPC spino for revenge. He's called spyder and he's a friend.
That freaking Spino
The most painful video for me. When I played Ark for the first time, I built near a pond, got many initial dinosaurs, built a beautiful house. While I was doing resource matters, a Spinosaurus spawned near me and broke my entire house, killing all my dinosaurs. As a beginner, it was very tragic for me and I even gave up the game. 💀

I feel this. Recently started out again on ark mobile in one of the south areas and after building a little thatch shack I went out exploring only to find that there were 3 spinos, a sarco and a baryonyx in the surrounding area. P A I N
Official pvp servers on mobile are way worse, the map is fucking plagued with plant X turrets and the obelisk is surrounded by them. I would farm the soul out of me just to get rid of all the trashy players on official, but I simply am by myself.

First time i played ark with my friends i realized one of my friends is a pure monster he will tame and breed spinos till they are perfect and name them chester then he will go without anything to your base on chesters and he will leave them outside your base and unclaim them
Update one of his friends taught him how to breed i fear going outside in ark now

First time seeing to tame a dilo killing carno for meat😂
My first time playing ark, the spino hadn’t been added yet, so I built a hut in the little circle pond in south. 1 weeks later, spino was added, I logged on, was attacked by a spino, so I moved over the hill to the big wooded flat Plato that overlooks the swamp, grounded materials, once I was ready, went back to the bond, knocked out, and tamed the spino, then moved base again (it was a pvp server, and there was someone just over the hill that was way more geared than me, with several rexes). I move way out towards east, and build off a non common river, grind all the way to the Christmas update, grind that out, then get burnt out for a little over a week, come back, my base was raised by the same guy I moved away from, and I thought I lost everything I grounded for, but like 4 irl weeks later, I was traveling down the river in my new Sarco when I spotted a spino with a saddle. I spyglasses it to see it was my original spino, the lone survivor of the raid. As it turns out, while all my other tames fought the guy in his geared Rex, my under leveled spino stayed out, until he was low, running away, and chased him down and killed his main Rex and him with all his raiding gear, and she had it in her inventory… good days

My first Ark reality check was starting on SW island and getting swarmed by Troodons at lvl 7 because i thought i could harvest wood at midnight with no problem
My first experience: Troodon swarmed me in the forest, titan boas swarmed me by the water, Sarco killed me on spawn...
Here's how to survive at south zone easily, just tame some trikes using slingshot,narcoberries and mejoberries and later on go higher like taming stegosaurus and raptors and is possible, tame a carno or therizinosaurs, I'm saying it in this way cuz I managed to tame a carno, a theri and 2 raptors

I go out of my way to make Spino armies the way people make Rex armies for bosses. The damage 20 roided up Spinos that have been raised on growth hormones can do is immaculate. Also, Spinos can literally square up and throw hands, who doesn't love that?

Fresh spawn with a not fresh character. Or the server just let's you open anything, but I'm sure it's the former.

I remember when i first played ark, i spawned at south 2 and TRAVELLED all the way to west 3 ON FOOT to find a raptor, it was a very scary, exciting and dangerous travel.
Since i didnt know much about the game back then, I didnt know what to expect or happen on the way, it was very immersing and i wish i could feel the immersion again.

@@burnt_0range319 I stayed on the edge of the island since I knew beaches were pretty safe, the only dangers were sarcos but easy to run away from.
Looking back at it now, I'm surprised by the luck that I didn't encounter any Spinos, theris, or meg's when crossing some deep parts of water.

Bruh back when I was a newbie, literally every raptor had the pounce ability.
Shit was nightmarish.
And I thought of shifting my base in the middle of the night, with no torches.
Lets just say, the raptors and the stupid spino that got my parasaur, are living rich to this day.

I remember my first time playing ark, I’d already seen a few things so I knew how to start, I was with a friend of mine and we spawned in that exact location. We saw something on the other side of the beach that was decimating everything, it was committing genocide of every species alive, we figured out it was a special raptor, it had a red smoke coming out of his body and we thought:”OH THAT’S SO COOL! LET’S GO PUNCH IT UNTIL HE’S KNOCKED OUT THEN WE’LL TAME HIM!”. If I remember correctly we died about 30-35 times while punching this raptor and laughing like maniacs, but this thing just wouldn’t go down. That’s when i discovered that alphas existed and they couldn’t be tamed.
I feel your pain bro I also did something like the but with a Alfa carno and I had god console at the time so stuff was easy but man it took so long to knock out and then I realized WTF!!! I spend 30 minutes trying to knock you out and then you can't be TAMED!! and I was like ugh fuck it and used insta kill on it
