Because the camera doesn't belong to them personally. The camera belongs to Roadrunner Records and it already costs them money borrowing equipment like that but if they lose it, they have to spend much more money to repay it and chances are RR isn't going to let them use stuff like cameras for a long time. But luckily they got it back at the end of the show so they didn't have to worry about that
