Honestly the exfils were so fun. Mowing down 100s of zombies was so cool and honestly nothing like we have had before with the zombie caps in round based zombies. Such a shame they got rid of it… I hope they add something new to have that many zombies all at once it was why the mode is soo good. Hope they see a decline in players and do something good. Such an L update tbh

I just wish there was a proper solo mode with no other players on the map like Outbreak. A traditional round-based zombies map would be nice to have in the future too.
the huge map, and other players is what makes zombies fun, it's like a real zombie outbreak gotta hide from people and zomies or maybe befriends and work together :) or go solo and hdie your tracks and movement.

@@reddevil1105 it takes just 2 contracts to get the 5k, you can get PAP in 10 minutes easy. and the reward often contains the upgrade token or whatever it is, so in the next game you can equip PAP right of the bat.

But I honestly don’t get it. People REALLY enjoyed the exfil farming, it was fun and something new. They could’ve just took the turrets out or whatever instead of nerfing this strat altogether

@@shadhoutz6279never had I crashed.. they obliterated the zombie count and exponentially increased the wait time in between choppers. They go from one extreme to the other and it makes zero sense.
The exfil was half the fun of this new zombies mode. The way you could train them like I was playing old black ops zombies was so fun. I actually really disappointed In this update. Nothing more satisfying than killing hoards of zombies. And I wouldn’t have even played if the didn’t give you crazy xp at the exfils. Idk really disappointed
In the Dr. Jansen mission at the end of the act. 1, you can actually farm a lot of zombies in the exfil. You can use the sentry turrets o just kill them in the platform, is actually better than the exfils before the patch because they keep spawning infinitely with no cooldown, and nobody will steal you the kills, I leveled 20 levels in one match for example
Takes a bit to setup and people have not progressed for the missions, but yeah that could work for those people.
You don’t need zombie kills for gun xp the mission rewards gives you around 2-3k weapon xp aswell on which ever gun has gun is present upon completion. I farm cargo’s as they easy to do solo. With good driving. And bounties for speed of contract completion. Not sure if red zone gives you 5k gun xp.
Thank you for the video. You gave me hope after hearing they nerfed the exfil.
On stream earlier you told me that contacts give you that maximum xp at a faster rate. I immediately went and did cargo deliveries and bounties and was able to max my weapon in about 45 minutes and completed good enigma as well. Bounties we’re giving me 750xp for completion and the cargo was a little less but it was quick to complete it. Ita honestly better than exfil. Exfil as you said was mainly for getting those quick 300 PAP kills which still can be done super quick by doing contracts, ingested strongholds or anything in the red zone.
you were doing cargos all game and bounties all game and you maxed your gun? i be doing lots of cargos and it barely levels up for me

I think Invasion is also a very fast way of leveling up guns. Just find where enemy helicopters spawn bots and take a respawn flare and use Gunner vest. Also bots parachute from the sky. You can get 5-6 levels on average per game (without Double XP)

Thanks for this JGOD! Was going through trying to find alternatives and decided that contracts were likely going to be the best for the time. Didn't even consider leaving the area for Outlast, will keep it in mind!
Here’s a crazy idea… bring back round based zombies. Obviously this formula isn’t working and they don’t know how to account for people not playing the game the way it was intended
What makes you think its not working? People trying to farm an exfil for XP has nothing to do with people who play the mode. Round based was terrible for XP in CW after round 5, so nobody really farmed it for that. They nerfed an unintended farm mainly for stability reasons as they mentioned. It will be buffed at some point, and people will find something else to be upset about.
@@JGOD I don’t believe people were farming mainly for xp, it’s mostly for camo challenges and such. Xp is meaningless for most people after a short while as it’s super easy to reach max level.
And this video is just proof that it’s not working and people will find a way to exploit the system, now we’re looking for ways to get hordes of zombies by intentionally not completing contracts, which is not the way the game was intended to be played.
I don’t believe it was really for stability reasons as the game worked just fine for me with 30+ runs even when I was exfil farming for camos and challenges. The main problem is sentry guns from what I hear and they could’ve done what they did with the remote turret in multiplayer ( people found an exploit that makes you invisible) and changed it and removed it until they sort it out.
Love how there's some sort of competition with the devs in these cod games to see who can make a more annoying and complicated weapon and weapon attachment unlocking system.
God i miss MW19, i don't even care how long their camo system took, it was very straight forward.
The Jansen exfil is super quick for leveling and I think you'll get way more than 54 zombies per min. Even faster if you go in with a bunch of turret mods.

problem is people have been farming the Exfils and havnt done any missions so dont have access to that LOL

When are they going to fix the mw2 weapons and balance them? The holger is broken and does more damage than most battle rifles. Weapon balancing needs to be fixed asap

i noticed for the Outlast contract, more zombies tend to spawn when the compeletion bar is around 90%. I stay inside till 90% then hop outside to clear all the spawns. I try to keep it around 85-95 percent complete while doing so and it seems to give the more spawns appossed to doing it at a lower percentage. Alot of hell hounds spawn too. I farmed 3k worth of kills and completion of the contract gave me enough to pack right away
Activating the nests in either Infested Strongholds or Aether Nests can be good by popping a few cysts, the zombies just keep spawning if you leave a few cysts. but these methods seem better
Also the timing between an exfil leaving and being able to call again feels at least twice as long if not longer. Game has felt smoother serverwise since the latest patch notes imo
Exfill cooldown is now 2 mins.

Does it cap PER gun? Like could you get 6.5 levels, then swap guns mid match? Or are you screwed at that 800 zombies mark no matter what?
Pretty sure you are screwed. I took one lower level gun, and a maxed gun. Only used the maxed for like 60% of the match, then used the Lower level gun, gained zero levels with 2wxp.
This method of xp farming is great! With double xp token and 2 missions of egg spores I updated my Striker SMG from level 3 to 20. One more match and I will have this gun fully updated.
The zombies riot shield camo is bugged for me when I leave at the end of game with riot shield and all the kills nothing counted and camo still locked ?
Same happens with the gutter knife
Outlast is by far the best mission for xp.. spawns infinite zombies and timer doesn't run out till you complete it
I dont mind the changes, but 50% of my exfils havent given me a single item i collected throughout the game since this last update. I grab a bunch of perks and crystals or whatever, exfil like normal, it tells me i received those things, and all i have is my insured gun in the gear menu.
Might have to take a break til they fix this, crashing 1/8 of my games sucked but this is definitely worse.
They just made soft cap even more strict now, you can now only level up to 3 now and up to 6 with double xp token. Means we'll have to exfill more times just to level up 😢
For people who are asking, they changed the amount of time it takes for the exfils to come back by 2 minutes, instead of 30 seconds, they also changed how many zombies so there is legit like maybe 20 zombies now. Compared to 100. 😂 but they did this to fix performance, as the game was crashing heck of a ton, although most of the crashes was caused by the Infinite sentry gun placements people did, as of a glitch. That has now been patched.
Up the loot all I get is uncommon ether tools and perks I’ve already hoarded
J God please make a video explaining how much XP you get from each multiplayer game to compare zombies to multiplayer. I don’t think zombies is the way to go for XP.

Hmm. I seem to be hard capped at 10 weapon levels per match, and things slow WAYYYYY down about halfway there.
Is the lvl cap per gun or per game? Could I level one gun 6.5 and then a 2nd 6.5, or once I get all the XP I'm done?

hm, weird. because youtubers were saying that they needed to "buff the exp gains on zombies to be more like multiplayer" -- this seems to be a step backward.

I was mad about the exfil change earlier when the patch was announced. However after playing myself and trying farming a bunch of the different contracts I too found that doing the right ones can actually be just as effective and really also feels more rewarding in game anyways.
Also for those wondering why they nerfed the exfil, from my understanding it’s because it was causing server crashes so they nerfed it until they can get the servers figured out. So no guarantee but maybe a chance they buff it back up at least a bit.
The zombies weren't the problem.. it was the sentry glitch.

Also the update patch out the duplicating sentry gun exploit and the update to the exfil were the same patch. Either way, the reason they did it honestly doesn’t really matter.

Act 3 complete! I do have to say that the mission structure is a huge grind. It’s unfortunate that you can’t do multiple missions simultaneously. I mean several of them can’t be done simultaneously but I would say most of them can be.
I had a lot of issues with the missions going to the next one after completion. I had to exfil and reset a bunch of times just to get to the next mission.
They better re-fix the exfil thing it didn’t crash the servers it was the amount of sentry guns people spammed
I tried the method and don't get me wrong it works but the method i use is sooo much faster i promise you.
For me the fastest way is still in zombies.
Unlocked the new smg and got it max level in 20min.
Outlast contract then cancel at around 95% and they keep coming.
Just stay close because if you wander of to far zombies stop spawning.
i dont know if what i did was some outlier but when i did outlaster 2 times after a solid 3 minutes not a SINGLE zombies spawned for 3 minutes strait no idea what the cause of this would be tbh

Can we talk about how op the controller aim assist looks to be in this video...? I play MNK and I'm no slouch and can't do anything near this. Random headshoting especially when hip firing. They should make it so you can do MNK lobbies only in this game.
An easy way to fix the low spawn count on exfil is to double the xp gained for killing a zombie.
10x the xp please as they took away 90% of the zombies

I've been playing cod since Cod 4, but never played zombies. Tried one game tonight and I couldn't figure out how to even get my custom loadouts. Is it the same as Warzone where I have to find a buy and buy my custom guns/loadout? Or should I be spawning with it? It gave me a random AR/shotgun combo at the start lol. Feel like a total noob.

No one knows for sure cause things definitely need to be nerfed but the Bas B was looking so good that its basically going to get nerfed. Aside from that, Marksman Rifles seem kinda cracked but I personally dont know how theyd perform in warzone.

This is the first cod in ages where I’m just playing the game, zombies/mp either way, rather than worrying about grinding levels, just enjoying playing it, so refreshing

I tried the armor piercing ammo and I think it helped with bosses and armored zombies. Can you test that to confirm it?
