Hi again,, your really spoiling us! You are :-))) I appreciate this so very much xx and these episodes are so very heartwarming and its really hit its stride with such a great balance between drama and humour. I have lymphocytic leukemia so i have to be inside a lot it can get real boring and so i'm so glad and its just fantastic to be able to float off again to glendaragh. I was an avid fan until 2003 when it finished here in the ulster region, and havnt seen it since, until now, so ive been whilin' the hrs away watching this lovley show, and i cant wait to see more. Its actually so much better than i had remembered these earlier to mid 80's eps theres a real warmth and sense of community within the show that holds so well today. Frankly this is a godsend to me along with old corrie as well. Thank goodness for wonderful people such as yourself for reminding us of much gentler nicer times by way of take the high road, i just love it! Cheers again from Ulster xx And Thank you xx
Just watched this last episode and I can honestly say I've savoured them all ....I've tried to make them last but it's impossible not to watch 3 or 4 at a time. Thank you so much 💓
I remember being at my Grandma and Grandads in the summer holidays and this being on the TV. As a kid I wasn't interested lol but it brings back memories even hearing the theme tune :)
12:49 - James Cosmo - He's shaved!! - the one one and only time I think I've ever seen him without his moustache! ( for those who don't know who he is....he was the face of _The Bank of Scotland_ ads wearing a full crow feather cloak..oh aye.....and the lesser role of Lord Mormont (The Old Bear) in _Game of Thrones_
They should bring Take the High Road back. Just like Brookside it is sorely missed. It was a perfect blend of dramatic action lightened with more comic moments I am referring of course to TTHR.
