    How does this even work on a theoretical level? Doesn't the TPM chip measure execution all the way up to booting Windows/Linux? How can it measure two entirely different execution branches during bootup?

    So Ubuntu doesn't allow installation with safe boot?

      is optional for Linux, and only supported for a really small number of distributions (only Fedora and Ubuntu and some derivates)
