If you need a ride to be under ground a real easy tip is to build the ride in a hole in the ground then cover the ride with the terrain. Way easier than trying to tunnel and not being able to see anything.
Thank you so much for this. I had tried that track concept before but I was using flatten terrain with the paths which completely messed it up. Having that off really works as I tested it out last night. I love these little tutorial videos. I also like the basics on creating mountains and hills that you did. Thank you
How do i turn on terrain clipping? I wanted to build a quick mountain around my coaster, but its clipping through the ground instead of auto tunneling like the first game. I checked the setting but it says its on.
So, I apparently need to tell every-one on my old videos, this is Planet Coaster 1... the original. There's an option within the game settings to allow terrain clipping. There are also some options (tunneling and what not) on the track building settings. You'll need to use both interchangeably
Really nice but how do you do this on console because in console your path have some sort of hit box around it creating a creater where path should be flush with the terrain
I don't have a console to know for sure if this is true, but in the game settings you have the option to enable path, terrain & scenery and track collisions. You will need to have that turned on...
I think for top tips you should do something like coaster college, Silvarett started this but only did a few coasters, maybe you could show some coaster types in a similar way

Just in time....I'm on day 2 of new park build. I'll be rewatching this multiple times I'm sure.
I read your mind! :D
I liked this tutorial very much compared to the other ones because of the quick pacing of this one, Keep up the good work and enthusiasm!
I am slowly getting into terrain, but I am so impatient, lol. I just like building on flat land xD
Oh my gosh, thank you so much! I was so lost on how to work paths around terrain, that was SO HELPFUL
Nice one again chach, cant believe Ive never heard of the hill path! Gonna be useful. Your enthousiasm is really contagious in this one tho hahahah
Ooooooooh... I didn't think that hill path bit would actually help any-one!! Glad I included it now!
@@Nerdchacho I'd never seen/heard of that technique either. Tis a game changer!
thanks so much for this, its really gonna help me with my park
Realy good informative tutorial would like to see some more like this in the future!!😃
Well, this is number 18 in the series that already exists.. this is just a new format I've been toying with :)
Thank you! Really helpful this for me as I’m on console aswell.
You're welcome! I had console in mind for this one... :)
Thank you very much! Helped me greatly!
This will really help me as I find the terrain tool in planco quite annoying sometimes thanks
It is alright once you tame the beast.. but yes, it is ridiculously hard to master..
Thanks for this. I never managed to get shit done right or look realistically enough.
Great tutorial my friend great builds as well!
You’re the GOAT for real
Nah, YOU'RE the GOAT... :)
I think it would be a cool idea to do a "starter park" competition
So do I. Watch this space.
u make great videos, thanks for the help man! i started my channel to and learn a lot from u !

@Nerdchacho I noticed after I commented, didn't expect a reply. Thanks you

how do i put a roller coaster inside of a hill? it doesn't let me do it, I cannot put anything near a coaster or a ride aswell
There is a toggle on the coaster builder which will turn on or off the ability to tunnel... it will be down on the right hand side somewhere...
Guys is there any way to reset the terrain?

What biome were you in
Deciduous, I think.. :)
@@Nerdchacho what’s setting need to be applied in order to place the track in the terrain!?
@@casnation2924 just figured this out, in the settings menu when pressing esc, underneath game, there's a setting that says disable terrain collision.
