Hey, my name is Jeremy... I work at the University of North Carolina Charlotte as a Fire Alarm technician. We have 4 techs here at the University and all of us are former Simplex service technicians. I personally worked at Simplex for almost 10 years before coming out to UNCC. We have over 100 Simplex systems on our campus, which is a giant 4 loop fiber optic network. We do everything in house, from programming and projects, to service and testing. We use remote client computers to disable stuff on our network remotely/from home. We have mobile client software which allows us to see our campus network from our cellphones. We stumbled upon your videos, and we're incredibly impressed by your passion for Fire Alarms, so I told my boss I would reach out and see if I can get in contact with you. We'd love to touch base with you and talk fire alarms. I can be reached by email at jsmithga@uncc.edu maybe we can set up a zoom meet with you and the 4 of us.
