Hey KC, love from across the pond! Its refreshing to hear gender critical logic from left wing progessives such as yourself (I recall in a video you mentioned you were a Marxist, though I dont remember which one). As a right wing libertarian, I approach Trans ideology from the standpoint of individualism and liberty, so its fascinating to see trans theory examined and analyzed from those who are portrayed as "Trans Allies" by American media. Love you work!
After seeing Ash's interview, I just gotta hope that deep in her subconscious she internalized the hesitance and outright refusal of PhilosophyTube not answering what should be a really simple and easy question. After all, something that is easy to understand should be able to be answered swiftly and be able to stand even with criticism right? I hope she peaks because she got to experience firsthand that even when you try to make things easy to accommodate a TRA and yet they still refuse to answer basic questions should give insight to how the ideology really isn't as well thought-out as one would think when you begin to critically think about it. I also agree that she should consider interviewing/debating a gender critical person whether it's you or any other GC in the UK. Contrary to TRA scare tactics, we aren't scary people who will assault anyone who disagrees with us lol.
Until not too long ago, the standard process for heart surgery was to saw the sternum in half and crack the ribs open to do open heart surgery. Never mind the risks of heart surgery itself; the "open" part was incredibly dangerous and fraught with complications. Now, we feed tubes in through tiny cuts that barely leave a scar. Assuming gender-affirming care had its own "open heart surgery" moment, _none_ of the current methods would be used, and it would be acceptable to critique them as dangerous medical procedures with possible alternatives, instead of all critiques being taken as transphobic and against the trans people themselves. Exulansic used to talk about this all the time; assuming these surgeries _are_ therapeutic and _should_ be done, why are we not allowed to discuss how to improve on them? Anyway... I bring this up because the sheltered Ivory Tower and refusal to engage in the debate is forcing trans people into body horror. Just trying to loop it back to a Halloween-themed topic.

LOL, did you talk about C0nvrsin Therpy? cause there is a PSA under the video about that, I don't remember it mentioned.
Funny thing is I didn't even. Ash Sakar mentions it in a clip I included
I love your streams, 💗
32:47 i will be taking 3 little French children who just moved into my area out for trick or treating
Sounds like the start of a fairy tale. Have fun!
Damn are we sure that is not Matt Welsh in a more advanced disguise?😂
If you ever do get to talk to Ash, please don't call queer theory "trans ideology".
Good idea. They don't like that term
Ash is on the road to being peaked 😂
Second and only 9 minutes late. I wonder where they get this stuff.
TBF I uploaded this video 2 hours later than I usually do
@@KC_Streams Ah! Also your hair, where did the curtains go?
Judith Butler- no intellectual giant🤡
Distracted by your hair. No. Doesn't suit you. Great video btw.
would you recommend reading any books on queer theory etc even if my opinion of transitioning is simalr to yours
Uhm... Like pro or anti?
@@KC_Streams i would like to read more pro queer theory for the sake of curiosity. Pro and Anti queer books TBH
