Hey Erik... looking great! I love the way PC labels and organizes their wiring. When installing batteries in my 24v loco, I usually hook up the neg leads first, and then the pos. Reversed for removing them. I ended up color coding all the ends of the wires with labeling as my harness got a little more complicated than originally designed. Plus, I had a sparking-mini-welding episode that provided the final motivation! :) Great video series!
Not yet, dang it!! But I’m literally getting all the other stuff done in the meantime. Shell/cab paint, lights with their housings etc., engineer’s chair for the following car, etc. So we’re still moving but yeah, I check the mailbox about 5 times a day waiting on the part we need 😂
@@minnesotaeerailroad8471 Erik, Carl is correct...fuses (or whatever form of over-current protection the motor manufacturer recommends) is a MUST HAVE!!
Yeah, as of Jan. 2023, owner is in the middle of a move from Wisconsin to Virginia and he’s military stationed at Ft. Eustis. So he’s just super busy at the moment. Hopefully not for too long tho 😊🤞Trains are important 😊😜

Where did you get your remote for the loco?
Plum Cove. See description for links. 👍
Great videos but don't put grease on exposed gears as they attract dirt and stones which will damage the gears. Keep up the great work 👍
Did u make the wheel 🛞 gears ⚙️ or where did u buy them
Plum Cove Studios. See more details in the following video and check its description for links 👍 ruclips.net/video/38ZkZvc8Elc/видео.html
That was a good video! Great to have your helper there too :) Looking forward to part 2. Have a great weekend.

Maybe I missed it, but where are the fuses?
No fuses but they can be added, is my understanding.

We’ll have to look into this more thoroughly! Thanks!
Sort of like trying to start an EMD SD45 after a rebuild and you find out the water is low... (Never did that again...)
Plum Cove seems to have disapeared off the map 😭💔
I spoke with them recently and I know their site is being worked on. But they assure me they’re still here 😊
@@minnesotaeerailroad8471 Thankyou, appreciate the update ❤
