I don’t understand the hate tho! My hair loves Cantu. People say that it’s drying but it’s actually extremely moisturizing in mine and my boyfriends hair
I love how this wasn’t about products or routines but just behavior that’s really unhealthy to one’s hair journey. When I started following these “don’t s” myself, my hair thrived and has been growing like a weed. I really like and enjoy doing my hair now and it’s part of my self care. Never thought I’d get to the point where I’d say that. I rarely watch her tutorials anymore and if I do, it’s always from someone who has a similar texture and just to get new ideas occasionally.
I just wash, condition and style mine with gel. I’ve never done anything to my edges. I don’t use deep conditioner unless my hair has damage, no spritzing, get my hair trimmed every 3 months.
My routine is simple. I shampoo, condition, and style with a product that is appropriate for the style I want to do. I don't pre-poo. I'm not a DIY girl because I just don't think I could make a proper hair product and I'm too chicken to try.
Hair colour. Brushes/combs meant for straight hair. Products loaded with alcohol or that cause dryness. Using a product line advertising to a certain demographic created and owned by another demographic. 😂
