Still using the Gammax Gt with my Ryzen 3700x (4.2Ghz @ 1.25v), been debating for a while if I should upgrade to an aio, on stock fan curves my cpu idles at 31c and when playing games like warzone it averages at 54c
Honestly unless you plan on doing some heavy OCing (which isnt really necessary on the 3700x), I probably would just keep the GT haha. Not really worth the extra money.
Does anyone have an update on using this long term? Just built my first pc and used this one to save a bit of money but am having concerns after reading some Amazon reviews
I have a question and maybe you can answer it for me. I bought the RGB version of it but that was before I knew about the difference between RGB and ARGB (was new to RGB). I bought it a couple of months ago (still waiting on the rebate) and I've noticed that the fan colors don't really match the rest of my build (and sometimes depending on the color doesn't match the block despite being RGB). Instead of getting a new AIO I will more likely buy two ARGB fans of the same make as my others to replace the Enermax stock ones and plug those into the ARGB header on my motherboard that is still free. The question comes down to the block and connecting it via the Sync Cable which I can not do with the ARGB fan replacements when I get them. I may be asking this wrong but do I necessarily need to connect the block's sync cable to a fan connector, or can I connect the cable to a 12v header on my mobo so it will function as it's own RGB device? If not I can settle for the default option whatever that is but I was wondering if it was possible and I can't seem to find an answer anywhere.
Do I understand correctly that if you don't plug in the RGB wires (bc your motherboard does not have and RGB header) then the fans and pump header will be in white LED mode only? Thank you.
@@LehmonMedia no worry. Appreciate your getting back to me w/the info. My H370 MOBO does not have any RGB headers. Also, as it turns out to my suprise, my case does not support a 240MM AIO anyway.
Nah this isn’t Asetek this time. Not sure who OEM actually is, but afaik Asetek units DONT have fill ports. Actually spent hours researching this a few months back because many of these units aren’t clear about who they use at all :/ It’s a safe assumption though as you pointed out most manufacturers use them hahah
@@LehmonMedia hey its got 5 heatpipes lol. tbf though they are all 'hyper 212 clones'. the hyper 212 just came first and after that it seems every manufacturer just assumed (maybe rightfully so) that that kind of heatpipe, finstack and fan combo was the most efficient and best performing cooler for the price using the materials and machining that can be bought at that price. if thats the case well i dont blame any manufacturer for copying the 212. plus the 212 is getting expensive anyway,
this guy actually has quality videos, deserves more subs tbh
Why thank you :). Def working on producing best content possible so I can grow haha
Wow 90 views for this quality! Great video!
Thanks! I appreciate the kind comment!
@@LehmonMedia You're welcome :) Its always great to see a well made video about something I wanna possibly buy
Good video :)
Perfect 👌
Glad you think so! =D
I installed mine now my pc keeps cutting off smh I need help
Is it loud when the fans run at 100% and is it loud when it's on normal temperature?
how has the aio been?
It’s been solid! One of the fans started making a clicking noise so I swapped them out for different ones, but overall been great
does it come with thermal paste?
Yes

Mine is still running pretty good. One of the fans have developed a whine so I swapped it out though.

damn not bad. beating any 360mm aio seems impressive.

So the header will just run freely with random RGB while the fans won’t have any RGB. Good question. I didn’t really make that clear in the video

I haver the 360mm one, ngl got It for stetics, but It also seemed solid in the cooling department
It's definitely a good cooler. Some of the mounting screws are a little finicky so careful with that. Otherwise great.
With a 5800x. Its alright
Another Asetek rebrand huh? In other words like 90% of the AIO"s on the market

@@LehmonMedia OEM is Lepatek. Enermax makes some of the best power supplies in the biz. They are a solid company.
@@thepolyguy5043 good to know. Thanks! Any clue where I can find this info for future coolers? Like I said I searched for a long time but has no luck.
JUNK!!!!!!!! THESE CPU COOLERS ARE CPU KILLERS!!!!!!!!!!!!! DO NOT BUY!!!!!!!!!! WARNING !!
bro what??
can you explain more
also would you mind taking a look at the gelid solution phantom? it looks like a decent tower cooler for the price.
