    I love how you break up the hour. I always think of it all having to be at one time but this makes so much sense! Thank you for sharing.

    Thank you so much for sharing! I started doing this and I love it! Before, I felt that I was cleaning the whole day. Now I just clean for that hour and whatever gets done gets done and what doesn’t get done that day I don’t worry about it. Thank you!!

    You have been sent from God to me today. I've been drowning since quarantine started to keep up, well actually things haven't found their normal since the baby was born July 2019... I used to do the timer method, why did I stop? No clue. THANK you! I am a 31 year old momma of 4 kids ages 9 (girl), 7.5 (boy), almost 6 (girl), and 13 months (girl). I needed your sweet encouragement! Now to go binge your videos for more pearls of wisdom!

    This video is amazing! I'm a young, busy professional and soon to be married and so scared of what would happen if I don't get my cleaning act together! This really helps!

      Oh wonderful! I'm so happy I could help! The key is just being consistent and doing a little everyday so you don't have to do A LOT at one time. :)

    Hey Dina, love the timer idea. Timers can be so motivating. Love the idea of not leaving the room till the timer goes. I'm excited for this series. One idea for a video would be how to teach littles how to clean. Or what jobs they can do.

    When do you vacuum or mop or do laundry? What do you do if you get interrupted? I tried this today, and 20 minutes into the routine, the plumber showed up (an hour early). Do you pick back up after school or start over tomorrow? I appreciate the simplicity and timer in this routine!

    • @PursuingPeace
      @PursuingPeace  4 года назад +3

      Hi Jennifer! I vacuum on Saturdays and do laundry throughout the week. I actually have a separate video about laundry. 😁
      Interruptions are bound to happen. I either just pick it up where I left off later in the day or the next day. What's great is that if you're consistent on doing this daily, missing a day won't be a big deal. 😉😁 And know I will get to it tomorrow helps me not feel overwhelmed when I see a mess. ❤ I hope this helps!

      Yes! My older kids have started to have their own zones they're responsible to keep clean and they've asked....why do we clean if it's only gonna get dirty again??? Feeling their frustration, the only thing I could come up with is...For His glory and our good kids....For His glory and our good. ❤️

    • @PursuingPeace

      It really does. I get distracted VERY easily. 🙃 So knowing I only have a certain amount of time to get this done helps me to stay focused. 🤓

    Do you take more than five minutes to do the dishes and clean up the tables after dinner?

    • @PursuingPeace

      Sometimes if it needs it I'll do 10 min. But I try to only do it for that long so I can spend time with the family. 😁
