Since even before that. Jessica supported around G♯3/A3 - B♭4/B4 since early years then got to G3/G♯3 - B4/C5 later during half of her SNSD's career. She's not just really improving that much & stayed stagnant like that for more than a decade.
@@resurgingflame some say she supported D5s too, but I'm not discussing that. Uh, do you think her lack of vocal growth is due to her singing on her comfort range and not taking risks?
@@edu.8552 she did support a few D5s during her time in SNSD but it's very inconsistent. Even on C5/C♯5 she's still not consistent enough. As for ur question, I'd like to think so. Sica in general doesn't like to sing much outside of her comfortable range + she seems to not think much over the technical aspect of singing. She's been always like that tbh. When u don't push urself to experience & learn new things, ur technique is bound to stay stagnant for a long time, just exactly like her. Her technique is literally the same since debut even until now. Tho I must say she seems to gain better sense of support & openness for the recent couple of years. She also has been able to support 2 F♯3s if I rmmber correctly. But those changes aren't significant enough to say she's better. & yeah about taking the risks... She's contrasted so much with Taeyeon(in comparison). Taeyeon always push herself to experiment & be better. There's even a time where she's regressed due to her kept pushing herself to the limit. But she became better after that lol.
YEAH SLAYY J! The Boys was Jessica's Era!! she has a wide range! hope she will show her vocal more on her next album!
Jessica has a D3 in Oscar in the background of her first line.
