Arc the Lad Collection was only sold new as the collector's box set. So anyone you see selling only the jewel case and the discs have separated it from the extras. The only time Working Designs sold a "standard version" and "collector's edition" was Growlanser Generations for PS2, which was WDs last release.
For lunar 2: The empty slot in the soundtrack holder is for the lunar 2 demo disc from Vanguard Bandits. Also you are missing the Ghaleon boxing nun doll that came with the game. You could only get the boxing doll by pre-order.
I remember putting that game in like 18 years ago and that game freaked me out. I was in awe of the graphics and horror at the time. While it doesn't hold up as well as I remember due to being spoiled by graphics now and the stiff controls RE1 has but those games we grew up with and played as kids will forever hold a special place in our hearts. It helped define a generation and brought survival horror (which is one of my favorite genres) to e mainstream.
I loved the tank controls of RE1 and became very good with them.. spin around with a stick then run in a direction.. R2 to draw weapon. I loved it. And yes it terrified me when i was younger. when the zombie dogs break through the glass and the huge spider and snake in the attic. ohhhh my!
i love the neslagia of collecting ps1 games. great collection and videos man. was wondering what ports you have in your collection cuz i feel some of them are pretty rare and most are really fun. love my ps1 copies of warcraft and myst the most :)
I haven't seen to many copies of Warcraft on PS1 nor have I played it but I can see the demand going up due to the popularity of Warcraft now. It was pretty non existent back during PS1. Most the ports I have are arcade ports. I think Panzer General and since of the old RTS games I have are ports too. Xcom would probably be my favorite port on PS1 tho. I have all my cartridge games at my parents house to keep them from wear and to keep anything from happening to them. I have a complete library of NES, SNES, N64 and 75% of Genesis. My SNES is a complete boxed library and all my Genesis games all at least have the case. I plan on doing those next time I visit my parents house. Genesis is one of my favorite systems and I couldn't over look that!
Got them from Walmart. $27. It's called a multimedia book shelf. It's cheap and perfect for games although the center shelf can't be adjusted and ur stuck with at least 2 shelves of CD height media if u want the rest DVD sized media. PS3 fits 6 rows of 30 almost perfectly. U have to out it together yourself but it only takes about 10 min, a flathead and a hammer if u don't want the back open. All the shelves are adjustable except the center one. There not the strongest quality (particle board) but hold up fine and have gone thru 4 moves so far.
Hang on. During your commentary on Xenogears you mention there are two type of cases, a green one and a black one. What exactly is the difference and what purpose do they serve? Why are people after the black ones more? The original GTA, both one and two, were freakin' awesome! GTA London, not so much. Wouldn't mind playing Metal Gear Solid.
The black label was the first print edition and the green label was reprinted after they sold 250k copies of the game worldwide. Normally the green labels were printed more due to the publisher's knowing the game sold well and well received by gamers. First prints of anything are always more desirable whether it be baseball cards, old books or vinyl albums. Same goes for video games. Thanks for watching and commenting. Tiny Tank is actually one of the hardest games to find on PS1 in the US. Unfortunately it doesn't fetch that high of a price showing rarity and price don't always go hand in hand. Good find tho. I'd put it as rare as Team Buddies. I've only seen 3 copies of each in person... ever... and that's from viewing over 1,000 different vintage game stores over 23 different states.
I know you posted this video a while ago but youre lunar 2 eternal blue discs don't look real. your disc 2 looks legit but discs 1 and 3 are different than mine and idk if you noticed that or not. I also watched an unboxing on a different youtubers account and they had the exact same discs as mine so idk if they had 2 different print runs but yours look way different just to let you know
There are multiple disc art. Working Designs liked doing that. Magic Knight Rayearth had 3 different disc art and there's a rare red dragon disc art for DragonForce. I'm not sure how many there were for Lunar 2 but I think it's 2. Since I played all the way through my copy of Lunar 2, listened to the ost, and they all are black backed except the ost, I pretty sure they are legit. Thanks for the concern tho. I'm sure there are ppl out there doing that and as a collector seeing different disc art would make me skeptical as well.
